Indications and warning Indications are critical elements that are utilised in the management of various strategic aspects of intelligence through the analysis of the information they present. The information is normally presumed to be a warning of some imminent threat which action must be taken to avert the consequences of the forthcoming event. Analysis of the information involves evaluation and structuring of source materials in a way which enhances the understanding of policy makers in order to develop and recommend a course of actions to avert the security threat. Action analysis seeks to develop possible solutions to the problem identified and the policy makers choose between the presented solutions. The indications of security threat are important in making decisions regarding planning for security actions based on current information available to the intelligence services. Indications and warning present a routine approach which is utilised in enhancing the security of a region or territory from external and internal security threats. While they are a source of reliable information, sometimes discrepancies occur which require a deviation from the normal operating procedures to ensure effective measures are undertaken. This kind of intelligence is what is required in situations where something outside the ordinary has occurred, and which is suspected to have serious security implications to a territory or country. These forms of alerts are created as result of events which have occurred either within a country or in other regions and have the potent of having detrimental effects upon the security system. These events commonly become indicators which are analysed to determine the course of action to be taken. The actions are normally taken to mitigate harm and control the adverse effects of the results of the event. Within any system seeking to adopt a security action following the indications and warning identification of the critical issues becomes essential in understanding where analysis should begin. The situation at hand does not have any relation to tactical goals which have been established by the various policies. This requires assessment of the situation in order to determine the action which should be taken. One of the most critical issues related to this conditions is the assessment of the various sources which present a danger of the disease spreading into the country. These are the various locations where the condition has been reported in order to mitigate and establish preventive measures to protect the people from contracting the disease if it spreads from other continents. Another critical issue remains the channels through which the disease is being contracted from infected persons to the uninfected individuals. Establishment of the facts regarding the vectors of transmission could enable the involved authorities to develop solutions for mitigating the spread of the disease. Since the instance has already happened, the actions which will be taken will be preventive actions aimed at mitigating the possible effects of the condition. The identification of transmission vectors remains an important element in seeking to implement control for the disease. This can enable a strategic warning to be presented to the susceptible groups of persons in order to ensure that they are aware of what might happen. Since the disease is a threat to the general public, this information must be relayed to the public to ensure that they can undertake any possible personal protection measures. Ways of containing the spread of the disease which have been applied in regions where it has been reported can enable the involved authorities to develop policies aimed at mitigating and implementing control measures. Within the regions where the condition has been reported, action has been taken, and evaluation of the various actions implemented becomes critical in determining what approaches could be applied within a different country to produce effective security from the threat of the disease. Assessment of different solutions to the problem adopted within different location remains inevitable in seeking to understand various aspects of the disease which present challenges to management of the disease. The critical issues within the conditions are all focused at finding the solution for mitigating the effects of the disease upon the population of the country. The death rate of infected individuals remains relatively high, and prevention of these deaths could be undertaken through eliminating the possibility and risk of contracting the disease. Solution focused polices are the critical issues which should be the focus of involved authorities. Solutions must be aimed at mitigating the impact of the disease by developing ways of managing the spread of the disease. This will be implemented following understanding of the causes and ways of spread of the disease. These vectors can be eliminated; therefore enhance the mitigation of the spread of the disease. In the context of the situation described here, situation intelligence becomes essential in ensuring the intentions of the enemy in the short run have been discerned. The situation intelligence provides worldwide interests like the ones which have been established so far, within this context. Solutions are developed at the global level through agreements between concerned parties. Each different country implements her warning intelligence aimed at protecting its citizens from adverse effects which could emanate from the threat. These will focus on understanding the intention of the enemy through observing the behaviour. This includes learning how the disease is spreading and how quickly it can be detected and other parameters which are essential in the management of the condition, to provide long term solutions. In seeking to isolate the source, various measure could be undertaken which would increase the efficiency with which the problem is detected. Detections remains critical towards developing an isolation plan aimed at controlling the dangers presented by the spread of the disease (Waltz 2003). The isolation plan would focus on ensuring the spread of the disease is prevented in order to mitigate the effects which come from the spread of the condition. Hypothetically, there are both positive and negative elements of the problems facing the intelligence authorities. Analysis of the condition in seeking to identify the negatives and positives to the disease become critical and can aid in the isolation of the source. The mobilisation of the enemy’s conventional forces can be utilised in establishing the extent to which the problem can cause damage by observing keenly, the affected regions (Waltz 2003). This can enhance the provision of indicators of the extent to which the problem has advanced and damaged the affected regions. These indicators will be able to present sufficient information regarding the prevalence of the problems which the disease is causing in the regions where it has been reported. Assessment of the current policies and security provisions regarding occurrence of such situations can also be able to aid in the development of solutions. Since the disease has been established to be a terrorist attack, previous incidents of such threats can be reviewed to provide background on the approaches which can be employed (Wilson et al. 2008). Since this is situation intelligence based on current information, changes can be adopted and implemented to the policy for it to be applied within the context of the current situation. Evaluation of the previous incidents which are related to this one could provide the policy makers with information which could enhance the formulation of policies focused on solution. Adoption of different approaches in the provision of solution to such attacks should be encouraged in seeking to develop a solution of isolating the source of the problem. The mitigation of the problems associated with the disease requires establishment of intelligence services which enhance the detection of foreign policies related to development in technology for ensuring warnings can be produced before the instances can occur. These preventive measures which are implemented seek to ensure that there is an effective monitoring of potential threats in order to mitigate their effects before they can affected the communities (Grabo 2004). Understanding the development which have taken place within the other regions becomes essential in ensuring that all the involved nations implement compatible strategies for administering national intelligence. The development of solutions aimed at eliminating the imminent problems presented diseases involves conducting information gathering in seeking to provide facts about the condition causing security threats. Once the factual information has been gained different aspects of the problem can be addressed with the aim of finding a solution to the challenges. The security intelligence which is applied in the process ensures that the behaviour of the enemy causing the threat is analysed with the aim of understanding the intention of the threat. Such understanding enables the security agencies to overcome the threat by developing policies which can be able to control the source of the threat. Polices must be developed in order to ensure that the threats emanating from such threats become mitigated before their impacts affected the entire society. Development of solution becomes the key to effective management of security threats like the disease described within this report. Reference Grabo, Cynthia M. 2004.
