The main aim is to increase the interaction of the police with most of the young generation. The program also allows most of the children not to involve them in crime (Trotta, 2010). On the other hand, the program creates more time for officers to be mental and friends with the children and the youth. The fact was put forward since most policemen interact with the youth in hostile activities and thus there was an enmity in the two groups. The variables include the weather conditions; the amount of work constitutes the seven days. In addition, the time frame is subject to additional activities that include recreational activities. The recreational activities may be after the clean up or ion other instances, single and simpler activities may take place after the cleanup activities. The recreational activities will help in the creation of more time for interaction through sports and other mutual activities. The settings for the program The program is set take part in the major social facilities. The facilities include the playing fields that are around the area. The fields will hold the events that constitute the competitions. Other tasks will take place in indoor facilities that are also for social work. If need arises, the police may use their fields to host activities such as the martial arts. The cleanup tasks will take place in the streets in which the community inhabits. However, the cleanup is a tedious work activity and will thus include even the other members of the societies who are not necessarily in the program. Furthermore, the format ensures that the stakeholders have the skills for positive decision making, ample management of time plus problem solving skills. All of the traits are in the application during the games, and the perception is that they will also extend to the outside environment. The youth leadership platform The instance is the most significant of all the formats that the program involves as a constituent part. The propositions involve the volunteering of the youth in the community service and other social activities. The focus of the format in the particular [program entails the cleaning of the streets both in the form of waste and garbage as well as the mindset of crime in the youth. The format articulates the character development of the youth and the children. The format is useful in the development of the future leaders. The fact is possible via the creation of a consequent sense of responsibility in the youths and the kids who make the larger part of the society. Goals and corresponding objectives for the participants of the PAL program Provision of guidance to the children The program entails of molding the children’s personality into mature and responsible citizens of the larger community of which the children belong. Each day will have a unique function. However, the instances that require taking place in the same day will have thirty minutes intervals to ensure that the transition is smooth. The referees of the various events will be the coaches of the particular games in the local learning institutions. As a consequence, the referees are knowledgeable of the rules of each game and thus every player will have to comply with the rules. For the case of the cleanup activities, the task allocation will be dependent on the mutual understanding and the comfort that everyone attaches to every task. In other words, volunteering will be an essential trait for the success of the program. If need arises, the policemen will appoint leaders among the youth to be in charge of sharing the duties while they will join the various groups that will result. The program is free for everyone to register. Correspondingly, the facilities and items that the program requires will emanate from well-wishers and the local government. The school also can provide the kits for the sports such as the balls to pose for emergency cases in the scenario of busts or loss of the available ones. For the cleanup activities, the items that will be useful include protective gloves and biodegradable bags. The state thus has a responsibility of providing a means of carriage to carry the garbage to a proper disposal site most probably outside the local area. Accessibility plan The program also creates room for the people with disabilities. One of the measures is to incorporate games that are advantageous to the persons with physical disabilities. Some of the sports include table tennis, darts and in other cases basketball in case the players are enough to make two teams. The persons will also participate in the forums since they are fully capable of those sectors, and they will have the initial priority where possible. Risk planning Weather The weather may determine the success of the program. Due to the fact, rainy weather may be very disadvantageous to the outdoor games. However, the selection of the week that the activities will take part is reliant on the local as well as the national weather forecast programs to selects the best week. Lack of participants The program is not mandatory and thus the stakeholders especially the youth may not be receptive to the program. Due to the risk, the program may not be a success if there are not at least three-quarters of the community youth in the program. The organizers will, therefore, raise awareness campaigns at least three weeks to the program in order to make it a success. Different rewards for the best performers will also be a mandatory promise as a way of encouraging registration and consequent participation. Facilities The program is dependent on the social facilities and the other items such as balls in order to make the program a success. The organizers will thus come up with a budget of all requirements and issue an open window for well-wishers. In addition, the program is in the calendar of the local state for the provision of funds. Time lags The compromise of the time schedule poses the biggest risk. The achievement of all the program activities within the seven week is subject to timeliness of the participants. Therefore, in the games, lack of keeping time will lead to immediate losses for the competitors who will be late for kick-off. The platform will include the best time for the various tasks that may take part before the PAL program in the planning. Such programs will include the school programs and the police working roster. Therefore, the plan will tend to cater for the time risks that may emanate. References Trotta, C. a. (2010).
