The Potential Hazards in the Workshop Assignment. https://studentshare.org/technology/2043776-risk-assesment.
The potential hazards (“Hazards”)that can be found in the workshop are 1) Falling objects 2) Rotating Objects 3) Revolving Objects 4) Stored Pressure 5) Coiled Electrical wires and spring 6) Electricity including static charge 7) Flammables 8) Poor Quality of tools used and poor quality of the workshop. 9) Poor management of tools 10) Poor management of workshop in the sense of neatness and tidiness. 11) Poor lighting inside the workshop. It is better to have the radio removed.
Close the electrical circuit hole/ Gi Cable Trunking by keeping the wire inside. The Gi Cable Trunking joint should be closed. Give support to the adjacent pipeline else high pressure can lead to breakage of pipe. The only clamp is given in the pipe and it is better to have more clamps for supporting the pipe. The wire is not concealed inside a pipe. The position of the wire is not leveled. The wire is kept loosely and can be dangerous. The reception room is close to the Electrical Room which should be avoided at any cost.
The driller and other machines are shown in the image. In this image, an Aluminum ladder is being kept in the room and that should be removed 3)The keeping of the Aluminum Ladder is in such a way that it is touching the electrical pipes also. The wire is passing loosely over the window slit. It should be passed through the concealed pipe and it should be leveled below the window slit. The garbage bin is not closed. The electrical wires are loosely given in the box. .The plastic vessel is not closed.
It is kept open carelessly which should be avoided. The handle lever for operating the machine should be removed as that can lead to danger. The handle lever should be attached only when the power is not functioning and it should be done by turning the power off. The fan should be closed as it is dangerous for the person. The fan leaves should be concealed inside a safety covering/net. The notification is not neat, especially on the left-hand side. It is not in a straight line. It should be simple English.
The instructions are not clear. The hydraulic lift should be removed from the place. The image shows that the machine on the left-hand side is fixed and the door shows a type that can be opened from outside. That means keeping the lift close to the door can cause problems. Some things like machines are kept loosely over the exit door which can be dangerous. The connection between the wall support and the copper valve is not straight and there will be jerking. The Iron holder that is kept in the trainer 250 should be removed.
In table 25, there are tools left open which should be kept in the toolbox. The chemical name is ending in a question mark which means that clarification should be sought before proceeding with it. This is a gas and there is a chance of decomposition if the pressure exceeds 15. The recommended materials for construction are steel and wrought iron. (“Acetylene”) The pressure gauge meter is attached to the pipe and it is risky to keep more pipes loosely to the pipe that is having the pressure gauge meter.
The Emergency stop button should be free of things and things should not be hanged on this. Radio is kept and that can cause jerking. Tools are left open and not in the toolbox. The wires are kept in the bottom loosely that can be damaged by chairs. The covers of the machine are kept on the table. The vacuum hose can be removed and there is one blue thing that has been kept near the rack. The file has been kept on the table and that has been used for increasing the strength of tools. The foundation bolts are not fixed and that should be kept in mind.
