The world we live in is constantly changing. The twentieth century was a century known for its many findings, innovations, kinds of research and greatest historic inventions. It was a century of modern sciences and great technologic events. During the last hundred years, people lived in a world, filled with new technologies. Many of the technological advancements were based— in part—upon old hypothesis, drawings, theories, facts, and finding. Individuals worked to set the foundation for the beginning of a life that offered a better future for the others citizens throughout the world.

Today, one can see the results by reading about historical advancements that led to the development of modern technology. Moreover, technology has made history readily accessible, by giving individuals the opportunity to visit a web page or watching a short scientific movie of what milestones were achieved in the past in the comfort of their own home. Whether studying history from home on the Web or in the library while reading a book, individuals can learn how things were created long before our time.

In particular, inventors such as Leonardo Da Vinci and Galilei it examines how the first flying machine was invented and how it worked.  In this paper, the life of Leonardo Da Vinci- A famous Renaissance artist and scientist, who invented more than 2770 tools, machines laws, anatomic theories, and so on is discussed. More specifically, it discusses Da Vinci’s desires to create the machine that would allow men to fly in the air similar to birds and how he himself invented a flying device in the early1500s.

This research also examines the resemblance of modern-day helicopter and light aircraft machines such as the modern-day Gliders.
