Mobile Phone Radiations - Research Paper Example

Comments (0)
Scientists from various countries across the world have been in the past ten years engaged in research on the possibility of humans being at risk by using cell phones. The fact that cell phones use radio frequency and that this frequency is an electromagnetic wave that is easily absorbed by the human head and further absorbed by the brain leads to several medical assumptions which back up the relationship between the medical conditions diagnosed on cell phone users to the cell phone's electromagnetic radiations.

Swedish scientist have in the recent past pointed out that there is a huge possibility of humans developing Alzheimer disease due to exposure to phone radiation. They also put in two other diseases, Parkinson's and multiple sclerosis. Recently scientist's from the Radiation and Nuclear Safety found out that the prolonged use of human head to the cell phone radiations damages the blood circulation safety in the brain. This leads to the destruction of the barriers which protect the blood toxins from going into the brain and damaging it. This medical assertion is to be further investigated to add panache on it since it was based on tests on human cells. It has to find more weight and profundity if a condition in the human itself confirms the theory.
But company executives, especially in the cell phone manufacturing and selling multinationals are playing down the medical analysis and initial findings and conclusions. The level of the precaution advice remains only apparent in the general public. But these fiscal greedy executives point out that it is way off to lay blame on the phones while some scientists and researchers as well are pointing out that it is still very early to envisage and subsequently reach a principal verdict on the risks posed by phone to the human health. This remains a scientific issue so far though the shift of public trust on the gadget is becoming less and it's given a cautionary treatment after all. In 2004 a study involving 12 collaborating laboratories in several countries projected some facts on damage of cells when exposed to radiation from cell phones. This was not verified as evidence of other cell changes.

Brain cancer as the primary subject

Medical research point out that continuous use of mobile phones is hazardous to human health. Generally the most commonplace pointer of the fact is the skepticism in the electromagnetic radiations by phones that is related to cancer. Research has pointed the possibility of serious health implications if mobile phones are continuously used. The theory of electromagnetic waves causing cancer and other radiation related problems is still being a debate both in the medical field and the corporate sector.
Cancer hence leads in the list as the most probable ailment acquired from the use of cell phones. The issue here is that the radio waves emitted by the cell phone can cause cancer.
