Reflect on the exchanges that occurred earlier (see Exercises 9-1 through 9-9; and 10-1), and then write the words you would use in sharing at least one explanatory and at least one change-oriented hypothesis that differs distinctly from any that Loretta expressed. The hypotheses you shared should relate to a problem, issue, or phenomenon reflected in the earlier exchanges and can reasonably be supported on the basis of strong logical, theoretical, or empirical grounds.
