Lifespan Development for Nursing Interview Interview with a nine-year-old child 1. How do you protect animals? I protect animals by providing for them whatever they need in their wellbeing. At home, I ensure that all the pets are fed well and given drinking water every day. Whenever my parents forget about our pets, my task is to remind them about the welfare of our pets. 2. What would you like to become when you grow up? I would like to become a doctor once I am through with school. I study hard in my school because I want be successful in educational matters. My teacher tells me that to be a doctor you must study harder. I want to help people live a life free of sicknesses and bodily pains. I also want to help people overcome accidents and health disasters, which could be prevented by teaching them about first aid and proper hygiene. 3. What are your academic interests? My academic interests include; reading storybooks, undertaking mathematical challenges, writing essays, as well as reading vocabulary terms and definitions. I like going for educational trips like visiting zoos and animal orphanages. I also like participating in poem classes. Moreover, I like attending music and modeling classes where I enjoy playing musical instruments that make me feel happy. 4. Which is your favorite animal? My favorite animals are cats and dogs. I like them because of their friendliness and sense of hospitality. Whenever I come to the house, I usually get fascinated by the way they come running towards me. Moreover, I like stroking them since when I do that I get more relaxed. When outside my pets; cats and dogs in this case usually give me the perfect company that I need. 5. Which is your most favorite color? My favorite color is blue. I like blue since the sky that covers all of the universe is blue. The biggest issue on animals arises from individuals who are insensitive to animals and their welfare. Animals that live in environments in which people do not care about them are likely to suffer or die since they cannot find food supplies that they require to live. Insensitive human beings are also likely to participate in poaching animals, as the individuals do not value animal life 2. Do you think your parents over protect you for the sake of your life and growth? As much as they do some stuffs to protect me, am in control of what I do because I know what is wrong and what is right. However, they should not be embarrassed because of my choices since what I choose is best for me. As a teenager, I have good reasons and intentions, which is; doing things according to what I believe is right and comfortable to me, but not because other people are watching and waiting to judge me. 3. What are your academic interests? My best academic interest is internet browsing and blogging. I have joined several online forums where members interactively discuss relevant topics that contribute to good performance in school. My favorite area is tutorials and applications of robots and computer system that treat and diagnose patients regardless of the type of disease. 4. What is your favorite animal? My favorite animal actually is a mammal; dolphin. I like dolphins because they display their intelligence. Although, I cannot afford to have one as my own, I mostly frequent marine parks to see them perform some extraordinary swimming stunts. In some occasions, I usually get the opportunity of swimming alongside them. 5. What is your view on drugs, alcoholism, and sexuality? Drugs should be used for the right purpose. If a person is not sick then he or she should not be involved with any kind of drugs and substance use. This is because they compromise an individual’s way of thinking. Alcoholism is dangerous because of its addictiveness. It leads to poor performance of chores on the side of human beings. I believe things that do with relationships; romance and sexual intercourse are activities for married adults. Therefore, individuals should not do the aforementioned when they are unmarried or at adolescent and teenage stages. Interview with an adult 1. Do you think it is mature for adults to own and love animals as pets? Yes, I think so. The love that animals particularly pets should be shown is not supposed to be limited by the age of the individual. The love that a child shows to his or her pets is important as the love that an adult would give to his or her pet. Moreover, I think that adults should show more love than children do because adults understand compassion better. 2. What childhood experiences and practices have most influenced adulthood life in your lifespan? My friend got sick, and her brain was seriously affected. She had to undergo a surgical operation. In the process, the pediatrics used un-sterilized surgical tools, which lead to complications that could have killed her. 3. Which are the chores in life do you think is the most rewarding? My role as a parent makes me very affectionate, and love life and creation itself. When I bring up children, in a different way from how I was brought up, it makes me feels that I am inducing change and development in life. I also feel that I am compensating for having been brought up by my parents. 4. What is your favorite animal? My favorite animal is a bird, particularly the parrot. I have four parrots at home, which live in cages. I have not kept them in captivity since I usually let them free whenever I am around. I am fascinated by the way; they habitually try to repeat a human conversation. Whenever I am home, I focus most of my time to feed them grains; they are my joy. 5. What is your view on healthy relationship? Healthy relationship is a fruit of mutual respect and understanding not only to your wife or to your husband. In addition, neither to your fiancée nor to your fiancé, but all people regardless of race, color, or background. He portrays change in human development as a constant thing. Dylan says that, there is a woman on his lap with assassin’s eyes well dressed and waiting for a train. He says that he used to care, but things changed since the times of strange lock (David 56). Dylan portrays aging phenomenon as a thing that tries to create second opus, a relatively painful and parallel thing in his life. He shows how change from good to bad leads one into misery with the expectation of tight faith and hope to approach a better day (David 61). However, according to Dylan, these things lead one to destruction especially when a person is able to configure right and wrong. He depicts contrasting ideas among insolent revolutions, fragile times, and flexible changes, which happen in between the gap of birth and death of human beings (David 64). In the song “Things have changed”, Bob Dylan describes life as self-indulgent acts on humanism. Poor human development leads to sin and hard-to-recover choices and activities. However, good choices lead one to indulge in proper and respectable ways of life from childhood to adult hood (David 67). Dylan had lived a life of his own shadow of childhood experiences that are well portrayed in the song, as well as in his biography. His changed life is an illusion and philosophical meme that show a disjoint between his earlier life and current life of which change is the only thing that can explain it. Dylan expresses his feelings of how crazy people are, far from what he used to know them (David 72). He is mesmerized by what time of development, has brought to his life. He was not used to life struggles, immorality in people’s lives and reckless living by people. In his opinion, in the earlier years, life was soothing.
