Social work with groups Ans AA group is basically formed to generate synergy and people group together to feel secure and communicate their issues and problems. The challenges that I anticipate first of all is forming a group. Choosing people and connecting them to a similar level can be quiet a task. Secondly breaking the ice and gelling in can be somewhat difficult for introverts. I would facilitate my peers by assuring them of being trust wordy and create a group environment where the members communicate freely and honestly to each.

Respect each other’s opinions to avoid conflict. I would highlight and make use of my best qualities to help out my peers in the group. If I am good at motivating people to work then I would make sure that the work done does not lose focus and there is no free rider [Cor10]. Ans B The three specific skills that I feel are the most crucial in a group knowing and understanding the group resourcing, planning and setting the example. The reason is that it is essential to only know the potential of the group and its resources but also to understand them.

If the group leader is able to interpret them then he can plan accordingly and set the group in focus. The third point is setting an example. Setting an example is crucial because this aspect is what motivates the team members to act in the way the leader expects them to act. These skills can be acquired by developing analytical skills, solving cases, problem situations and learning good resource management. This course can help in developing these crucial skills by forming groups and giving the students and opportunity to polish these skills [Cor10].

Ans GThe authors has mentioned regarding group cohesion in the fifth chapter of the book stating that mutual trust is essential for strong bonding. The authors have also noted that group can become strongly bonded if mutual goals are set by the leaders. The book includes almost all basic and important pointers for effective group cohesion. This also included the conflict resolution that allows solving of problem regarding the group agenda in its initial level. For instance, a leader must be able to find out the true essence of the trust by developing effective communication among the group members [Cor10].

Ans HThe authors in the book have listed many significant points for the group leaders which can be used as manuals. The authors have given a very easy tip for leaders regarding group experience. Leaders can surely help each individual undergo same amount of work which in return is likely to help the members too. It is due to this reason that the main motive of the group is achieved. Another pointer is that division of responsibility and structuring of the group responsibility can achieve increased efficiency.
