It is a state where an individual does not have someone to talk to, crack a joke with during work breaks, or just share the spirit of work enthusiastically (Arora, 2012). I think the workers in mental health facilities experience workplace isolation of highest degree because the people they interact with are out of touch with feelings or the happenings around them.
