During this process of learning this partners individuals can consult with their parents and this give greater chances of marrying this person, however, there are critics of this theory that include lack to specify the needs that should be incorporated are they negative or positive .Influence of parents affects this theory so is the occupation and someone’s education background (pearsonhighered.com)
The theory of complementary by Robert Winch is based on individuals of opposite sex attracting each other (pearsonhighered.com). The couples have needs that are to be satisfied and can be personal, but this needs differ between the two. The critic from this theory is a lack of evidence to support it. Due to the different needs of the couples, that makes their satisfaction hard.
