Similarly, Rader found the pleasure in taunting the victims’ family members, as well as, the police by leaving a false evidence or destroying any evidence that might have implicated him in the crime. Dennis Rader used to kill the victims by strangling after torturing them sexually (Barkan & Bryjak, 2011). The confessions revealed the psychopathic state of the serial killer. Rader was less concerned about the welfare of other people. The psychopaths do not express any emotions as the normal people do. Rader’s description of the killings as “projects” revealed that serial killers tend to be self-centeredness.
The court sentenced Dennis Rader to ten counts of first-degree murder after pleading guilty to all the charges. The judge delivered the final sentence and gave the serial killer 175 years in prison without the possibility of parole or one life sentence for each victim after Rader presented the horrifying information about his crimes in the court ...Download file to see next pagesRead More
