For example in philosophy love bears one meaning, while in sociology – another. However, the most wide-spread determination of it is a deep affection and sympathy of one person in relation to another. The word love also predetermines the mutual understanding of the needs of the partner and their ability to care for each other. Thus, love plays an important role in the family relationships. A good example of such happy marriage is the American couple of Phil and Robin McGraw, whose marriage exists for thirty years.

In their interview the happy couple stated that they express great respect in relation of each other, but it does not mean that they have always been in harmony. The couple managed to overcome many difficulties, by means of the successful partnership. The most important thing, as they state, is to feel each other’s emotions and mood in order not to lose the partner because of indifference and inattentiveness. The happy couple has two children, Jay and Jordan, who prove their sincere attitude to each other and great attention to the question of relationships.

Concluding this article, it is important to state that love as a diamond has various gem-cuttings. It is covered with the qualities of patience, sincerity, attentiveness to the partner, sharing his interests, mutual aims and other characteristics, which maintain their affection till the rest of life.Works CitedCoyne, K.
