Charity works such as conducting fundraising for the needy families and collecting school supplies have also been among our activities. Through these charity works, we have aided in social transformation as some of the humble families have been able to acquire the basic needs. The young children from the less fortunate families have been able to attend school, therefore, making them have an equal opportunity to those from well to do families. Engaging in such activities usually helps in limiting cases of crime due to desperation and loss of hope.

Through these activities, I have developed a compassionate heart. I have also learned the spirit of sharing. The contentment of what I have from our family is also among the things that I have learned. I have learned to relate with people of different personalities more comfortably than I would in the past. It has been as a result of the meeting and interacting with many different people during the volunteer works. Most of these traits I apply in my day to day experiences.  In conclusion, volunteer work is something that all should engage in as it improves one in all aspects of life.

Volunteer works not only benefits others but also benefits those offering them. As initially, I used to be antisocial, shy and joining a volunteer group was a way of gaining friends but I gained much more than friends.
