Things like moving from one place to another, meeting new people will be affected once cars are removed from the road in the U.S. People will find it difficult to access shops as they are used to. We would be living in a world without knowing our friends or relatives. Visiting a friend living miles away requires a form of efficient transport, however, with inexistence of a car, one will not make such visits. We like playing baseball in specific places, baseball players and spectators have to travel from far away.

Banning of cars will make such social entertainment boring because people from a far distance will not be able to travel. Cars also contribute to our cultural life, banning of cars in the U.S. will affect our culture. We are used travelling long distance using fast moving cars. Also, the U.S. is fond of car racing in streets, all this will change if cars are banned in the United States and we will be back to our slow way of life. People will start using horses as a form of transport. They will also be travelling short distance before the horse gets tired.

Economy is closely related to transport; movement of people contributes significantly to economic growth. Development arises from the creation of non-physical capital such as income and physical capital, such as infrastructure. Frequent use of infrastructure such as roads shows that the transport sector is significant to economic growth. Transport sector comes in because of availability of cars on our roads. It means that banning cars in the U.S. will have huge impacts on transports sector that in turn affect our economy (Rodrigue & Notteboom, 2014).

Based on my view there is no other form of transport except public transport such as rail transport, trams and planes. The U.S. population will have to make use of such transport.
