As it is a Muslim society therefore the glimpses of religion can be seen in almost every aspect of its culture. This is what makes it different from the rest of the societies.

Pakistan is an officially Islamic state located where South Asia converges with Central Asia. Pakistan as a country is new but its history dates back to the 50,000 years. The Indus River present in Pakistan was a source of an ancient civilization that developed around 3000 B.C. In the 16th century, Pakistan was part of the Mughal Empire, under the reign of King Akbar, Jahangir, and Shah Jahan. It gained independence from British rule and became a separate country on 14th August 1947. The eventful history is the reason behind the social change in Pakistan. Other macroeconomic factors that cause social problems in Pakistan are inflation, poverty, and unemployment (History Society & Culture, 2013).

Pakistani population is mostly based in rural areas, which are backward in modernization but in its developed areas the trends of urbanization can be seen in the dresses of men and women. The population of Pakistan is very much affected by urbanization as people from rural areas are moving to urban areas for employment opportunities and the chance of having a better lifestyle.

The art and architecture of Pakistani are being repressed as the government is not taking effective measures. However, on the other side, the trend of celebrating religious festivals is encouraged and they are celebrated on a grade scale by Pakistanis. Educational and political institutes of Pakistan are a source of creating awareness among the Pakistanis and have contributed much to changing human nature to a great extent.
