Teen Abuse of Cough and Cold Medicine POVERTY The aim of this topic is to highlight the varied causes of poverty and its diverse impacts. Poverty is a state wherein individuals does not possess adequate amount of money to fulfill their daily needs. In precise, poverty refers to such situations where human beings are not able to avail their basic needs including food, water, shelter, education and healthcare. Certain imperative factors including high rate of population growth, gaining momentum of unemployment and prevalence of extreme level of modernization in agriculture along with industrial sectors have certainly contributed in raising poverty by a considerable extent. Poverty reduction is identified to be one of the biggest challenges for every country. It can be evidently noticed that globalization has certainly changed the entire structure of global economy. Based on various researches, it can be found that around 50,000 people who live under poverty die daily for not getting proper medical care. Hunger, literacy as well as homelessness are all noticed to be the prime characteristics of poverty. To overcome this critical situation, respective governments of varied nations adopted effective measures towards eradicate the problem in the form of introducing distinct poverty alleviation programs and executing other related approaches among others. It is anticipated that the above stated solutions adopting and implementing by the respective governments belonging to various nations may impose positive impact on the lives of the people who lay under poverty in the form of raising their living standards and raise their acceptability level in the societies wherein they reside (Natural Resources Defense Council, “International Issues”). TEEN ISSUSES The objective of this topic is to highlight different teen issues in modern society. Modern society has been facing different teen issues that are eventually limiting the growth of new generation. In this modern scenario, young generation individuals particularly the teens are often observed to remain actively engaged in performing varied sorts of illegal activities. The teens following the age group of 16 years are identified to consume alcohol and drugs in order to make their respective stress levels quite low. It is due to high consumption of alcohol that the teenagers are often identified to face critical situations. For instance, in the US, maximum number of teenagers gets arrested while drinking and driving altogether. Moreover, apart from this, the teens particularly the eighteen year old girls are often recognized to face adverse situations of sexual harassment at large. It can be asserted that the aforesaid teen issues are contributing in raising the level of crimes conducted in the US by a considerable level as compared to other nations. Due to the negligence on behalf of the parents, the teenagers have certainly become more violent and undisciplined. In order to address and mitigate the above discussed teen issues, varied legal regulations have been framed and imposed by the respective governments that might impose favorable impact on developing the prevailing societal conditions of the nations by a certain degree. For limiting the rate of teen issues, parents need to remain more concerned about the activities perform by their children. It can be apparently observed that due to the prevalence of high stress due to studies and personal life, teenagers often become violent, which contributes in raising different teen issues at large. Thus, the measures including correct parent guidance and the generation of friendly behavior can reduce the teen issues by a certain level (WebMD, “Teen Abuse of Cough and Cold Medicine”). INTERNATIONAL ISSUES The prime objective of this study is to highlight international issues. Terrorism and global warming can be duly considered as the two crucial international issues that have been creating negative impact on this modern world. In previous decade, the modern world witnessed the conduct of massive terrorism activities in the US and other Islamic regions. Due to the occurrence of the above stated activities, humanity has been badly affected and thus created a fear environment around every corner of the world. On the other hand, global warming is ascertained to the other social issue, which certainly provides insecurity for maintaining global resources. To combat fight with global warming, every nation has adopted effective measures to preserve natural resources for maintaining long-term sustainability. For instance, Hong Kong adopted and executed appropriate policies towards saving water resources. Justifiably, people belonging to this city have been using gray water for production and flushing. Likewise, to increase the water level, governments of different nations have emerged with the idea of planting trees in unused lands for consuming power and most vitally saving electricity. To reduce terrorism and its fear from society, varied sorts of peace related activities have been conducted by the governments of dissimilar regions throughout the globe (Natural Resources Defense Council, “International Issues”.) SAME SEX MARRIAGES The aim of this study is to determine the effects of same sex marriage. Modern society is currently witnessing certain new events amongst which same sex marriage is identified to be one of the crucial concerns. Marriage between two people who belong to same gender is acknowledged as same sex marriage. In the year 2009, a legal conformation towards same sex marriages has been availed. In the contemporary society, same sex marriage has created positive as well as negative impacts amid the societal members. It is the year 2014 wherein the conduct of maximum same sex marriages can be witnessed. Thus, with this concern, it can be affirmed that gay and lesbian people have certainly became a part of society with possessing own identity. This particular aspect is quite important to consider as this creates a new trend in the society (CNN Library, “Same-Sex Marriage Fast Facts”). EBOLA The objective of this study is to highlight the major facts of EBOLA virus. Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever or Ebola is a virus, which affected human beings. The symptoms of Ebola in the first phase, can be apparently observed as fever, muscle pain, headache and sore throat followed by vomiting, diarrhea and rush follows in the entire human body. Ebola virus has affected liver and kidneys of human bodies. In most cases, it can be found that Ebola virus also acts as a major contributory factor towards causing death in the six to sixteen days after the symptoms appear in human body. It has been ascertained that due to low blood pressure, people often gets affected with Ebola virus. Recently, these virus symptoms have been noticed among varied people all over the world. To diagnose Ebola virus, blood samples are initially collected from infected patients. Blood samples are generally tested for recognizing vital antibodies, aftermath the virus itself confirms the diagnosis procedure. During the diagnosis, samples of body fluids and tissues from infected people should be handled with special caution. It is very uncertain that no specific treatment for this disease has been founded by the researchers. To save the infected people from this virus, doctors provided oral rehydration therapy.
