Extract of sample "How Will We Love"

With women empowerment and shift to nuclear family the whole perception of relations has changed in the society. Actually, in ordinary lives of generations this thesis is reflected in the fact that grandparents can celebrate their 50th, 60th or even 70th anniversary of marriage while younger people keep going through divorces. To start with, older people in terms of previous cultural framework had more commitment in their romance than younger people. On the contrary, modern adults feel like they should find someone who can solve all their problems and make all their dreams come true.

But, they do not realize they should give something in return in order to save love in marriage. Furthermore, women now can feel more independence in relations with men. In return, it makes their marriage harder to endure while partners are equally strong. On the contrary, older people have been together in another cultural context and got used to be more patient and tolerant. Hence, their love lasts much longer than now. Finally, the new social background makes communication within marriage more important than before.

In particular, the necessity to live together makes it possible to understand one another completely when both of them are free from their previous social roles. Moreover, examples of successful marriages show that partners try their best to support, comprehend, and comfort each another in order to be the happiest people in the world. So, older and younger people differ in their attitude to marriage and divorce. Nowadays, younger people fail to communicate with each other while older people still live together.

But, these examples bring hope to younger generations that eternal love is possible.
