Through the reading, there are points presented wherein one can be convinced that transgenic art is worth exploring since like any other art it is a form of expression which the audience can appreciate and even live and take home the artwork or in this case the art form or product organism. In the concept that art can be defined as an expression of one’s being with freedom, I can completely agree. In the forms of visual arts specifically painting wherein media are in solid and liquid states and applied on surfaces of different materials, freedom of expression is limitless.

But in transgenic art where a breathing and living organism is the end product, there are ethical and social responsibilities to be given attention and respected. On a personal note, the artist should have limitations in the use of media specifically in relation to the involvement of life and different forms of organisms. Using genetic materials as the medium for the creation of art cannot be limited to the rules of art itself which are limitless expression since it should also follow the rules of biology which is ethically responsible.

Basically, arts should be given more importance in the community.
