The Act in through Title VII has provisions to ensure that the elderly are free from any form of abuse. Question 4Mr. D. should go ahead and make report the authorities of the local town to the Older Americans Act authorities. The reason behind this is that if the Older Americans Act if providing funds for the establishment and running if the senior center, then the senior citizens should be in a position to access the facilities.

Question 5 The food provided by the Older Americans Act, whether fresh or frozen is within the programs stipulations. The Act differs from social security since it deals with the provision of services for the elderly while social security concerns with making of contributions to the social security administration that one can access on retirement. On the other hand, Medicare is an insurance program offered by the federal government of the U.S. to ensure access to health services whenever one gets sick. Some of the programs by the OAA include Long-term care Ombudsman, nutrition programs, and national family caregiver program.

One of the proposed changes to the OAA is the proposed administration on aging. The changes do extend to those that have already occurred because they are consistent with the mission of the Act. Part 3The state and area agencies can provide various services to Mr. C. to assist in improving his living condition. The agency concerned with access to services can enable Mr. C. get information and assistance concerning the social security benefits that he receives. In addition, the agencies can offer to give transportation services to Mr. C. since he is not in a position to drive as he used to initially.

The agency mandated with offering nutrition services can ensure that Mr. C. gets concrete home delivered meals to support to enable him live a healthy lifestyle and give him nutrition counselling on what he should eat since he has been living on snacks alone that do not guarantee good health. The Home and Community Based LTSS can offer home care services to Mr. C. Additionally, the agency can ensure that Mr. C. gets personal care and house chore care. Lastly, they can give him the adult day care services on daily basis.

The disease prevention and promotion agency should give Mr. C. nutrition counselling since he lives only on snacks to help prevent some diseases that can result the inability to access the best diet. They can also ensure that his physical fitness is good since he no longer goes out and ensure that he gets health promotion services since he is suffering from some diseases.
