My mum used to drop me at school on her way to work, but now that she has left I use the school bus because my dad is ever busy. I also spend more time at school with friends because I feel lonely at home, as my dad is ever busy.

Findings

Divorce has adverse effects on the proper development of teenagers. Children may develop a negative attitude towards one parent or both parents on occasions of divorce. Conversely, the teenager may have a strong bond with one parent. Divorce may also compel affected children to involve themselves in behaviors that are detrimental to their health such as drug abuse and immorality (Stewart & Cornelia 121). It may also affect children socially and emotionally.
