The rampant violence in sports has great consequences to the youths today. The youths, when fouled, think that the referee biasness towards their team hence has to fight against the penalty. Some of the youths especially those playing football term football as a violent game and one must win violently. Therefore, that attitude pushes the youths to play a violent game toward opponent team. Moreover, some youths keep off football, which they like doing as a hobby because of fear of encountering a violent opponent. As youths grow to adults, most are petrified to be game officials, especially referees because of fear of the wrath of the players when penalized. Therefore, sports violence is negatively affecting America youths and changing the youth’s attitude towards sports.

Sports with good coaching bring enjoyment, creative thinking, and harmony among players and between players and the coach. However, the desire to uphold prestige and pride of the team has led to the coaches using a “win at all costs” approach among players. Therefore, the team must win the match to avoid the abusive mechanism of the coach. According to Legend website, sometimes the coach mistreats the player, thought to be the cause of the losing the match.
