Jim Crow Etiquette

            Jim Crow etiquette refers to the way in which Blacks were treated under Jim Crow laws. Jim Crow laws made White Americans feel superior to Blacks and they used to show that superiority in every field of life. For example, Whites did not prefer to use courtesy titles of Mr. or Mrs. With the names of Blacks. They also did not want to shake hands with Blacks. Moreover, Blacks were not allowed to go to the restaurants of Whites and even if they went, they had to wait for their turn to be served because they could not be served in the restaurants before Whites. Summing it up, Jim Crow etiquette was not an agreeable one as it made Blacks feel inferior and low grade.
