Friendship "Friendship is a single soul dwelling in two bodies" (Aristotle) God has blessed me with many relations. Some are bonded so strong enough that there influence will remain till my death. Friendship is one of such lovely relation. Since childhood I meet hundreds of fellows. Every one has different and unique nature. Most of them leave pleasant memories but some have also harsh one. But I love to remember and call those who always been good to me. I love to enjoy their company and always wish to live with them. After many experiences in my life, I recognize that every person in you life need not be your friend. As I have my own individual nature and thoughts so it is not necessary that the person I meet should have the mind of my match but once I got such a person then there built a strong relation between us that we love to spend most of the time together. The strength of the bond of friendship depends mainly on the person you are making friend of yours. If that person has feelings of care and sincerity for you then there remains no reason that person can't be your friend. Friendship is not the relation of give and take. It demands only love and care for each other. It is not restricted to age, group and gender. Any person of any group can be your friend. You're mom and dad, your brothers and sisters are the best options as a friend as there is a close affection and love for each other. Beside these any person can be your friend. Friend is a person who knows you better than yourself. No one can live without making friend. It is a joint relation. Here I remarkably want to talk about my mom who is the closest friend of mine. After making friends I have very good remarks for this relation. If one ask me, what the friendship is then I explain this lovely relation in words" an unforgettable blend of love, affection, sincerity, loyalty and deep care". There are many reasons to tie this relation with such beautiful feelings. Here below I support my arguments with my own experiences. "A friend is an individual who has the knowledge about you, and yet likes you"(Elbert Hubbard). Here I admit that I am not the perfect person. There are of course many weakness and faults in my nature. I am not always proof to be right and factual. But I hereby say proudly that there are many peoples in my life who still love me; they are my friends. If I talk about my mom then she knows more then any body that how much faults I have but still she loves me and always tries to over come my faults. Now if I talk about my childhood fellow (who is one of my best friend till childhood) then she knows when and where I did wrong, what are my weakness and some of my faults are strictly criticized by her but still whenever I need her, she will be always there for me without pointing out all my faults – that is called ‘friendship’. "I don't require a mate who alters when I change and who nods when I nod; my shadow plays a better act "(Plutarch). Yes it is true that every one wants a friend whose feelings and emotions remain same all over the time. Whether he/she is angry on you or is not enjoying your company but still he/she doesn't change his/her behavior to you. The hard experiences of life, problems (whatever it is) and any unexpected happening can never change the emotional attachments and affections of the friends of yours. "Never explain –your friend do not need it and your enemies will not believe you any way"(Elbert Hubbard). It is the quality of your friend that he never demands for explanation as he knows you much better than you. Your friend always tries to avoid you from being ashamed beside him he always tries that you only admit your fault without telling him and never do it again. He/she is always attentive to you. He/she is a good listener and keenly observes what changes you are adopting with time. I some time heard from my fellows criticizing their friends about their behavior and relation. At that time I just do say that the person he/she is criticizing may not be his/her friend. "He has no enemies but is intensely dislike by his enemies"(Oscar Wilde). Friendship is not something like that you will loose this relation after any unexpected experience from your friend. It is also the relation of forgiveness. If your friend thinks that he/she is annoying you then he/she him/herself tries to change his/her behavior or at least tries to talk less to you on the topic which is annoying for you. Honesty, another important factor in any relation, is the key for friendship. It is not necessary that you know all about your friend. What is he doing, what are his activities bit it is sure that you have to trust on your friend that whatever he/she is doing should be always of no objection. My mom, what she do for me and also for others I always believe that she never take a wrong decision. My childhood fellow, a closest friend of mine, never disappoint me with her attitude and work. In each sense of time whether it is good or bad your friend tries to stick with you. Never keeps you feel lonely. Your friend always understands your feelings. if he/she is making fun of your weakness then it doesn't means that he is just making fun to annoying or embarrassing you but he/she is trying to tell about your weakness in a friendly and usual manner so that you yourself thinks about your weakness seriously and tries to overcome it. There is also a great quality of your friend that he always make you feel that he/she has a great care for you not by saying this but by his/her attitude towards you. Friends do not need words to explain his feelings but have attitude to recognize you about his/her feelings for you. I do say that a friend is a person who is always there when you need him/her. "a true friend unbosoms freely, advises justly, assists readily, adventures boldly, takes all patiently, defends courageously, and continues a friend unchangeably" as said by William Penn,(1644-1718). As it is mutual relation so your attitude towards him/her is also play key role to strengthen your friendship. Works cited "Elbert Hubbard." BrainyQuote.com. Xplore Inc, 2011. 22 April. 2011.
