These components make such crimes apparently less vulnerable and unidentifiable because criminals exploit their authority and corporate status for pursuing financial gains. Prostitution can be defined as one's involvement (mostly women) into sexual activity in exchange for money. Such an occupation can be legal or illegal depending upon the location of this activity. People who choose prostitution, more or less like self-employment, are known as prostitutes or sex workers. The prostitution is widely claimed to be the oldest profession though of the evil core, but it has been found uncertain due to insufficient sources.

But the origins of prostitution can be traced back to 4000 B.C. (Clarkson). It is referred to in the Biblical era (one of the oldest written records), in some eastern countries it had a sacred status during Babylon domination. Prostitution is believed as a soc.Because prostitutes are the source of proliferating sexually transmitted diseases such as AIDS, hepatitis B & C chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, genital herpes, human papillomavirus, trichomoniasis, etc. Prostitutes are usually victims of violence (sexual and non-sexual) because they leave their fates at the client's discretion.

It has been highly discouraged throughout history to date and for this reason, prostitution is strictly banned in most countries around the globe. Despite strict laws, bans and vastly punishable crime the prostitution exists unstoppable in all parts of the world. Every civilized nation tries to be prostitution free but utterly unsuccessful. Because of elemental sex instinct being a raging animal in man the prostitution prevails by hooks or by crooks.Aspects of Legalizing Prostitution:As far as legalizing prostitution is concerned and we are left with choices to say either 'yes' or 'no' then we must not give a second thought to discourage this idea.

We understand that it will be additional oppression against women and girls at large. But once more it cannot be stopped anyway. Therefore, we end with the choice to think about legalizing this evil profession on the basis of the following reasons but not limited to:Anti prostitution laws are ineffectiveAnti prostitution laws harshly affect already oppressed prostitutesAnti prostitution laws open doors for racistsSupport for 'legalized prostitution' should strictly depend upon adherence to agreed conditions such as:The legal status of prostitutes should cover their health checks and social security benefits as if it is the case with other self-employed professions.
