Answer 2 Externality is defined as a transaction between two individuals on a third individual who is not involved in it. The term is used to reflect the role of corporations in our society as to create problems and let them be dealt by a third party. Somebody else build roads for automobiles to run on. Thus tax payers pay developmental taxes that lead to the construction of roads for automobile industry to flourish, similarly to protect oil wells, government may induce wars in certain oil rich country increasing defense budget and increasing taxes.

In this way the tax payer pays for the purpose of development of armament industry. Answer 3 Keeping in view the corporation’s ultimate goal and inherent objective, it can be said that only such individuals who entangle themselves with the goals of corporations will be successful. As globalization has expanded these corporations to all over the world and not a single individual is protected from becoming a prey of the corporate aims. Moreover, this phenomenon is expanded due to the protection and backing of strong governments of the world.

Answer 4 ‘Basic Training’ basically explains the manipulative role of the corporations. Moreover, inducing the consumers to make useless purchase by smart marketing is also for the sake of serving corporation interest and violating the consumer’s interest by manipulating their minds and thought processes. Answer 5 In the given part, it has been discussed that the corporations signal consumers thru different sources to certain products and impressing one consumer leads to increased number of customers as one proposes the perceptual benefit of a product to others related to the direct buyer.

One way was like putting empty boxes of a product at doorstep and paying the gate keeper for keeping those boxes there. Any person who comes out of this building will immediately encounter those empty boxes and may assume that it’s been ordered by a number of people. Thus corporations persuade people through manipulations and false marketing using different sources to make its product come into use by a customer being innately unethical.
