How the language in the UAE will be affected in the future Introduction There exist a number of languages that are used in the United Arabs Emirates. They include Arabic, English, Urdu and other subsidiary forms of languages. The magnitude in which the languages are used differ. The official and nationally used language in the United Arab Emirates is Arabic. It is the first language and the recent rise of the languages such as English act as subsidiary languages. The Arabic language has a profound background within the Arabic communities in the East (Raven, 2011). Every social or culture aspect has a future to predict. The same case applies to a language such as the Arabic language. This report intends to exhibit and analyze the future of Arabic language in the United Arabs Emirates. The inferences made by the report focus on the response acquired from the interview. The results are mainly based on the ideas and presumptions that rhyme amongst the respondents. Most importantly, the phenomenological approach to obtaining the information concerning the possible changes and adjustments of the Arabic language in the United Arabs Emirates. Research approach First, there is the significant utilization of two approaches to the analysis of the response acquired from the interviewees. They are the historical comparative and the systems approach. A bountiful of the information collected was based on the recent past, current trends in a bid to analyze what the future holds (Raven, 2011). The respondents based their inferences on the current and historical trends to give their belief of what was to transpire in the near future. The spell or period applied in the interview was five years to the future. The respondents may have given a long-term kind of presumption. However, the most important part of the results will cover the next five years of Arabic language. Findings There were a number of responses from native interviewees from the United Arabs Emirates. The respondents gave a unanimous response concerning the diminishing dominance of the Arabic language in the country. They argued that current trends stipulated that the Arabic language is getting depleted by the development of a new language that is quite sophisticated. The future of the Arabic language, therefore, depends on the contemporary, and the historical aspects with regards to the origin of the same. From a scholarly point of view, the Arabic language has evolved for years having approximately 250 million people within and outside the United Arabs Emirates (Raven, 2011). The current and recent use of the Classic Arabic Language in the United Arabs Emirates serves the role of documentation especially in the Islamic Religion that is predominant in the United Arabs Emirates. The modern standard Arabic language is the official form of Arabic Language. Most documents used in the United Arabs Emirates are in Arabic language. The same case applies to the case of broadcasts, sign boards around the country. That is one factor that can quickly facilitate the continued usage and growth of the Arabic language in the country. However, it is paramount that the United Arabs Emirates are also adopting the intensive use of English language in some official matters. Investigations with some reliable informants who have resided in the United Arabs Emirates is paramount in determining the feasible future of the Arabic language in the country. Accordingly the UAE Arabic language is the most adorable language according to those who have had an encounter with other languages. In fact, some imply that after encountering with other languages that are foreign, one feels a particular attachment to the Arabic language. Therefore, the language has a history profound within the Islamic language. Most content try to exhibit the post-Quranic era and apply those concepts in the future of learning and Islamic religion in the country and around the Middle East region. The respondents to the phenomenological analysis of Arabic language insist that the language is meant to remain very relevant especially with regards to the Islamic religion. That implies that within the next five years, the language will remain relevant in the United Arabs Emirates. The Quran will continue being read in the Arabic language since it is the official religion language. In fact, the most other languages from foreign sources are borrowing some words from the Arabic language. For instance, the use of mixed Arabic words in the English Language has become a prevalent issue. The only most controversial thing is that the language is not service the role within the official way of writing. Thus, not many people are in a position to write in the Arabic alphabet. There are some spontaneous responses by the interviewees that give a limelight to the feasible status of language in the United Arabs Emirates. First, there is a feasible depletion in the rate at which the Arabic language is being used in the United Arabs Emirates. For instance, it has been established that the students in the United Arabs Emirates feel more comfortable conversing and writing in English than the Arabic language. The major problem is conversing in the language. For instance, there is possibility that students will not manage to communicate well in the Arabic language if the trend continues in this manner. Arguably, the increased preference for the English language, as compared to the Arabic language, may mean that English might start assume an official position in the country. Rest, the Arabic language within the next five years will be just a religious language and a mother tongue language in the souvenir. A different respondent who gave a similar response stipulated that there is feasibility that most students will prefer to write the assignments in English. Notably, the Arabic language will have to depend on the background provided to offer the best shot at the future. Unfortunately, the less concern that the curriculum is giving the Arabic language is likely to give foreign languages an added advantage within the next several years. Thus, Arabic may not be a vocal national language. That implies that documentation by the year 2021 will be done preferentially in English (Raven, 2011). What does that hold for Arabic language? There is no feasibility of the language ever becoming extinct in the United Arabs Emirates or anywhere in the Islamic region. It remains a historical language historically, currently and within the next five year to eternity. The use of the systematic approach to discerning the implication of the responses is very influential in determining the fate of the Arabic language within the next five years. For instance, most people currently believe that it is easier to adopt the English language and dismiss the Arabic language. That conclusion spells that the Arabic language is likely to reduce its popularity in the United Arabs Emirates. Accordingly, it would mean that the language is losing meaning and essentiality in a region where it is the mother tongue. However, there is a case where most families are said to wish that their children should learn the national language. Most are advocating from the language to be taught. However, the aspect of diversity is initializing a counter force. Resultantly, a foreign language that is heavily appreciated in the global concept is likely to feature, especially in the UAE cities (Raven, 2011). Discussion The findings imply that the language in the United Arabs Emirates is likely to feature in very few scenarios. Within the next five years, it is feasible that most institutions will be adopting English while trying to embrace diversity. The ability to read the Arabic language is deteriorating gradually. The young generation is likely to be the one that will be functional in the commercial and development sector. There is a likelihood that the Arabic language will not bear intense significance like in the past. In the year 2014, there was a detailed research and analysis of the language’s deteriorating rate with regard to significance. However, the law to protect Arabic language will not have any effect in the next five or so years. Conclusion The Language in the UAE is sure to get affected in the near future. The research infers that the society is appreciating the foreign languages at the expense of the domestic language. Therefore, the language is likely to have lost a grip within the next five years. Scholars are the most affected since they prefer the use of the English language at the expense of Arabic language. The only relevant field that the language will have to remain in the next five years is the religion. Some of the adverse impacts will be that it will continually become hard for the people in the United Arabs Emirates to read Arabic scripts. Reference Raven, J. (2011).
