There exists insistence for financial confidants to behave ethically, and largely, to act ethically on a first glimpse seems simple. However, it is not always simple because in circumstances that are more complex one needs succinct actions. At times, people face situations and issues for having obligation to conflicts, conflict of interest, a major requirement of confidentiality, issues of fairness, and further to game a situation to favor the client or you.

In this context, it is complex to mount a decision that will not definitely attract anti-ethics policy proponents. Basing the arguments of the Siemens Global company, it is clear from the “fast cash” paid was inclined towards garnering support for the company and acquire contracts. To the best of my knowledge, all CEOs the world over would do anything for their companies to gain a steady flow of projects. Being cognizant of the fact that, no CEO could offer to dish out such sums of cash without eyeing to reap big for the companies, there is always a sure way calculated to ensure a rise in the profit margins within a company.

It was worth accepting the fines since the laws of the land had defined bribery as illegal. Further, it could serve as a turning point to the company by ditching the past and focusing on the reputation of the company. Being the C.E.O, it is better to abide by the ethics laws to ensure conformity and redeem the image of the company. In this context, there was enough evidence covering the justified crimes purportedly committed within the company. Therefore, it is proper to submit to the statutes of the land by letting the law take its course.

Although bribery was the main construct of the companies within Germany by 1999, the deeds were unsuitable. Thus, it was unjustified to continue with the unlawful acts through 1999. Companies need to adjust to the radical changes observed within the policies. Policy adjustments help to streamline the activities carried out in the firm to ensure the best interest in the integration of the public while the firms reap their entitled profits.
