Letter Introduction) Dear Sister, I hope this letter finds you in very good health and you will be enjoying the blessings of God to your satisfaction and content. Sorry, I couldn’t write you earlier because I was planning a visit to Australia in the coming vacations and was busy with the arrangements. Site seeing has always been my passion and Australia is regarded to be on the most beautiful natural resorts with rain forests, coral reefs, blue beaches and unpredictable weather especially the down pouring of the rain. When the question of the place we might visit during the vacation came up, the decision was obvious. You know how crazy I am for the sunsets and dawn over the blue composure of a crystal clear sea. For me, comfort, is not the only measure of judgment when I plan my vacations. The place has to be beautiful, comfortable, and adventurous and goes easy on the pocket. Australia is truly fitting into that as it offers all the colors blended in the beautiful array of matchless serenity and tranquility. I have done all the formalities necessary and I am all set to go in coming vacations. I am really looking forward to it and it had always been my dream to explore the mystic nature of rain forests and if I had a chance I will defiantly try to explore Australia to its maximum. Finally, I would like to wish you success in all your endeavors. I will write to you again soon and will share my experiences. Yours truly, Letter 2 (Rising action) Dear Sister, Hope this letter finds you in perfect health. I am too excited and eager to tell you all that happened on our much anticipated trip to Australia. I will start from the very beginning. After a comfortable flight we landed at the Airport in Perth in the mid afternoon. The day was warm and humid, much different from what we were habituated to. We found a way out of a taxi to the nearby hotel and checked in. Australia delivers a number of places renounced for its quietness and beauty, but the place synonymous with Australia and its tourism is the Rottnest Island. It is almost five or six hour drive from Perth, with an hour ride on a ferry. Although we had an option to take a plane to this dream like place, but we decided to drive rather than fly to Rottnest Island. I always love sightseeing and there is no better way to do so than to drive through it. We took a rest to do away with the jet lag. We had a good night’s sleep and in the morning hired a car to drive all the way to the harbor to catch the ferry to Rottnest Island. The driveway was way too beautiful to describe in words. The lush green grassland stretched throughout the way and we reached the harbor just in time to catch the ferry. The ferry was comfortable the view was all inspiring. I will keep in touch and will write again. I am posting a post card of Rottnest Island to give you an idea about this inspiring place. My love and regards for everyone. Yours truly, Letter 3 (Climax) Dear Sister, I hope you are well and eager to know about my exciting visit to Rottnest Island. Dear sister, man proposes and God disposes. Events beyond expectation happen and leave an everlasting impression on the heart and the mind of an individual. Something like this happened to us in Rottnest Island. The beauty of Rottnest Island gripped us the moment we stepped in. It was at the same time both mysterious and magnificent. A little breeze was making the whole scenario even more mesmerizing. Even though we were tired, Rottnest Island and its atmosphere compelled us to go out and have fun on its blue beaches exploring its beautiful landscape. As we left out hotel the drizzle slowly turned into a rain shower. We continued to drive to the nearby beach. The war was winding and a bit deserted. The gentle rain was turning into a thunderstorm. The unpredictable weather was settling in an as I took a steep turn the car slipped and toppled. We were in a car crash, something that I never anticipated in my wildest dream. In a moment every possible thought flashed in my mind. For a second, I was unable to think or judge what has happened, but then the little one cried and I woke up as if I was dreaming. The rain was down pouring, it was dark and deserted. I was taking everyone out of the car, wishing and hoping that no one got hurt. Standing on the roadside with my family, I was thinking that my vacation has gone terribly wrong. My only concern was the safety of my family while standing in the darkness of the falling night. Now I have to go, but in the next letter I will share with you experiences that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Yours truly, Letter 4 (Falling action) Dear Sister, My last letter to you must have called some worries and concerns, but everything has its purpose. In the last letter I told you how we meet an unexpected accident by the road side in Rottnest Island. There was no help in sight. I knew no one there. I had no emergency telephone number and was standing by the roadside. We were extremely lucky that no one got seriously injured, but everyone got bruises and concoctions. I was about to panic when across the road I saw a family of four, two young boys and parents, walking towards us. They were British and their car met a similar fate on the road a few minutes before us. They were also in shock, but they were more eager to help than complain. I was very pleasantly surprised how the stranger, completely unknown to each other, in such a situation become friends and yield a helping hand which is a much needed relief. After a few minutes a car stopped near us and an Indian man came out of it. He offered help and took us to the hospital in order to get the first aid for the wounds and bruises that were sustained during the accident. The British family was also given a lift to the same hospital by another car. The doctors in the hospital were also very helping and cordial. We were treated well and send home. The helping hand rendered by the British family and the Indian man will always remain a gratifying and heartening memory of Rottnest Island. Dear sister we are absolutely okay now and we are determined to get back to our holiday spirit. I will write to you soon and take care of yourself. Yours truly, Letter 5 (Denouement) Dear Sister, In the last letter I wrote about the accident that we came across in Rottnest Island, but today I want to pen my feeling and understanding of what happened that night. Although, the accident caused us a lot of pain, fear and frustration, but when I look back to it, I remember the kind faces of the family who helped and the smile on the face of that young boy as he was trying to bandage my wounded arm with his handkerchief. I also remember the helping hand offered by the Indian man and the kindness showed by the hospital staff. Dear sister, everything in life has a purpose. I have always regarded myself to be a practical man in this material world and have always regarded the softer values of life to be an obsolete concept. This little incident taught me a much deeper concept of living and giving. A complete stranger, going off the way to bring me and my family to safety has not only rendered and every lasting friendship, but also has tough me the lesson of selflessness, love and care. The human values I forgot were given back to me during my visit to Rottnest Island. I will always remember the visit to Rottnest Island as a soul searching experience. I hope the story of my vacation will open up a new chapter in your life as it has done in mine. Love and regards to everyone. Yours truly, Read More
