“Job satisfaction is in regard to one's feelings or state-of-mind regarding the nature of their work. Job satisfaction can be influenced by a variety of factors, eg, the quality of one's relationship with their supervisor, the quality of the physical environment in which they work, degree of fulfillment in their work, etc”.(Job Satisfaction) Job satisfaction is a distant dream inThe Middle East and especially in Kuwait. Since Kuwait follows strict Islamic rules compared to the other entire Gulf countries (Saudi Arabia is an exception), the social life is limited to expatriates.

Job satisfaction is related to their social freedom also. At the workplace the employees have to undergo heavier workload and even after the work is over, they are not permitted to live a free life. The recreational activities are limited. There are few cinema theatres and some gardens which you can utilize to relax. Most of the small-scale industries are run by skilled workers who don’t have any idea about the professional management of a business. For them, profit is the only motto. They don’t want to know anything else.

Most of the workers working under them will be much more qualified than them. They are forced to work under such people because of their financial needs and family problems. I know an engineer who is working under a boss whose qualification is just matriculation in Kuwait. The working atmosphere also may not provide you with much job satisfaction.Such dissatisfaction over the work may result in family conflicts also.
