Admission Essay: ANZ Ltd My academic and professional background so far has best prepared me for entrepreneurship. As ANZ Ltd.’s business manager, Ihave worked in a textile company for five years doing everything from marketing to product shipment. Presently, I work for a B2B business model that manufactures apparels and sells them to high street retailors. Zara is one of the retailors that I manage. As the Merchandizing Manager of Zara with a team of five, I market the assigned target capacity. I bring in orders for the factory.
My own company Zaman Ltd. is in nascent stages as a small enterprise in Singapore and trades raw textile materials to China, India, and Indonesia. Three years from now, I see my company expanding in these countries and adding more raw material and product lines to diversify its services. I am particularly interested in marketing for the China-based garment manufacturers because textile industry is a major source of revenue in China.
It is high time for the apparel manufacturing industry in China to grow. While this is great news for the textile industry, many manufacturers based in India are not equipped with the resources and expertise to have themselves recognized by the international brands. Lack of marketing skills creates a distance between these Indian manufacturers and the elite international brands. Getting a degree of MBA will fill any gaps I have in my knowledge and expertise with regards to marketing so that my abilities to be fruitful for the Indian manufacturers in the given scenario is optimized.
My plans for Zaman Ltd. are to make it a reputable multi-financial services corporation which is always in search of highly qualified, diverse and creative people. The founder of such a company, by all standards, needs to be formally educated in MBA from an internationally renowned business school like this. Read More

Not only did I have difficulty expressing myself, I found it difficult, as well, to understand spoken English here.
