Liability – literally, liability is something that owes. It is also a debt. Morally, it is a moral obligation or duty to do good.
Strict liability – strict liability posits that people are responsible for their own acts. It holds that whatever the consequence of their action, people are answerable to their own agency.
Accountability - accountability meant an obligation or could be a liability to another party, be it a person or organization to perform a certain task or to deliver a certain promise. It also requires the accounting of one’s act and performance relative to duty, responsibility, or task.
Example :
A concrete example of this is a student who is accountable for his or her performance in class. His or her test results, participation, diligence, and any other acts are accounted to become his or her grade and he or she alone is accountable or responsible for that grade. If he or she fails, such a student is accountable for it and no one else.
Moral accountability – moral accountability is the internal motivation to do better in his or her acts or in any responsibilities and duties that may be assigned to him or her.
Example:
We can again cite as an example of the student. While the student is accountable for his or her performance in class, he or she has also moral accountability to his or her parents to do his or her best because of their hopes for the student to be better prepared for the future. This is also recompense for the sacrifices made by the parents for the student to send him or her to school.
