Summary of council meeting The Placentia Planning Commission meet took place on May 13th The meeting started with the identification of speakers through a roll call. It had five speakers of who were the commissioners. The meeting was headed by a chairperson and a vice chair. It had two major Agendas (Planning commission 1). Man’s question Before the two agenda’s were discussed, people were allowed to ask questions. A man raised a question about whether he could conduct a waste project for the government.
He also proposed to find solutions to failure to turn off the lights by some city halls.First agenda One of the meeting Agendas included planning for seven-year capital improvement program. The plan was to be implemented starting from the year 2014 to 2021. During the discussion of this Agenda, it was recommended that the Planning commission find out about the conformity of the adopted plan of the fiscal years in the seven-year duration. The findings were to be approved by City council. Second agenda The second agenda was the public hearing.
During the hearing, the approval of the Zoning Code Amendment 2014-10 was discussed. The recommended action during the discussion of this agenda was that the City Council should approve the amendment which consisted of a review of the City’s development plan. Conclusion The Meeting was concluded with comments from the planning commission. He said that any formal action taken on a requested issue would be discussed in the next meeting. In my opinion, the meeting was very organized. During the meeting, people behaved in respectful ways.
For instance, the audience did not boo or shout at each other when they disagreed. If they disagreed they were given a chance to ask questions since the audience were encouraged to express their opinions freely.Work CitedPlanning Commission.
