The fine motor skills are not fully developed but there is evidence of their existence as can be observed in the toddler’s use of fingers. 5. The baby observes the actions on the television, during feeding, the baby spits food that they do not like and he also listens when a familiar song is sang to him.

These perceptions are in line with the book as the toddler is grossly able to distinguish taste, sound and visual perception. 6. Does the child appear to be healthy? (describe what you observed that tells you so) Yes he is healthy as can be observed from the hours he puts into play and other physical activities. He is also not on any medication and his weight is moderate. 7. Describe any eating behaviours that you observe. Are these eating behaviours appropriate for the childs developmental stage?

The child is very choosy on some food especially the ones that are bland. He also prefers grown up food than his. According to Berger (2012), this is normal for the toddler at this age.
