Hazardous can denote many issues when it comes to mobile handsets. There have been numerous controversies whether mobile handsets emit high sufficient radiation to trigger health complications. This paper is going to give an argumentative essay on whether Mobile phones are dangerous. Some articulate that of the primary causes of malignant cells is the emission from mobile handsets. The main radiation source is via the mobile phone’s tentacle (Adams 4). The close the projection is to an individual’s head; the more the contact is to the radioactivity energy. The quantity of radioactivity energy immersed by an individual reduces with increasing space between the projection and the operator. Rendering to the United States’ Food and Administration (FDA), there is no adequate of scientific proof to link mobile phone through health complications (US Food and Drug Administration par. 4). Mobile phones do release radioactivity, but the intensities are stumpy for instance, those found in microwaves. Nevertheless, the Food and Administration has entreated a more exhaustive research to be carried, as there exist some indecision of lasting use (Adams 4). Mobile phones have developed technologically during the past few years. Cell phones can be utilized to convey text messages, take pictures, play games and access the internet as well. Mobile phones are used to carry out money transactions by sending and receiving money. Each of these stuff; nevertheless, are precarious when it comes to the usage of the mobile phone’s applications as well as driving simultaneously. Mobile phones present many risks since most operators are not conscious of the dangers (Adams 4). Most people text or talk as they are driving, which may be very unsafe. It makes the car driver to become preoccupied and so can result to an accident. Conferring to the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration), 16 percent of above 40,000 fatal accidents are triggered by an abstracted car driver (Pugh par. 3). Furthermore, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration estimates say that driving or texting (Pugh par. 4) may have instigated approximately 51% of these fatal accidents. A research by ‘Virginia Tech’s Transportation Institute’ revealed the danger of crashing was 2.9 times greater when calling a mobile handset while driving, and 1.4 times greater when conversing on the cell phone (Pugh par. 5). The moment the mobile phone rings, people naturally receive it without reflecting on what the effects could be. A person will begin to be more attentive on the talk he or she is having, losing concentration upon the motorway, which can lead to them running into a stop sign, stop light or rear end of another a car(Swift par. 6). Every one of these instances can result to major clashes. There could be severe wounds or even deaths. Texting is a great cause of demise for teenagers while they are driving (Adams 4). Teens reason that the talk they are having while driving is “more crucial” than focusing upon the road. Teens never take time to have their conversations on hold for some time so that they can focus better on the task. Teens reason that it is appropriate to text while driving. They drive physically yet psychologically their mind is not in the driving; teenagers pay more interest to the text message or the call they are getting (Pugh par. 5). A former 62-year-old marathon racer, when riding his bike, was hit and killed on the spot by a car driver who admitted that he was sending a text while driving (Swift par. 7). Additionally, another car driver who was driving at speed above 70 mph within a ‘45 mph zone’ ran into a red light triggering an eight-car accident that’s lew a mom of two (Swift par. 4). While sending a text to his fiancée, a subway worker bumped his train to another train sending fifty persons to the infirmary (Whitney 6). These occurrences should explain to public, including teens, that texting or talking on mobile phones could actually be extremely harmful to a person’s life and even the lives other people. Countless lives are on the risk when persons use their mobile phones when driving (Adams par. 4). Mobile handsets are as well as will remain to be useful in today’s world; however, they will continue to be extremely destructive as well. Mobile phones have enhanced communication all over the world. They are convenient to carry around and to communicate with them. Through mobile phones, one can reach anyone from any location in this world. Technology has enhanced mobile applications to a degree where cell phones have become the small computer. They contain almost all the features and applications that laptops and desktops contain. However, mobile phones have the aptitude to divert drivers from the motorway because of the many features and applications they come with. The usage of a mobile phone can as well lead to frequent accidents, which could be deadly and traffic jams too. Radiation is released from a mobile phone’s projection though the outcomes of long-term usage are nonetheless being disputed (Swift par. 6). This should persuade people to dialogue less upon their mobile phones. Mobile phones are precarious to today’s world and people ought to become more conscious of the risks they present. If someone feels that he or she must drive when talking on the mobile phone, then it is advisable to obtain a Bluetooth (Pugh par. 5). As far as texting is concerned, it is advisable to do away with texting when driving. It would be wrong to get into an accident and be the reason for the demise of a best friend or family friend simply because a person was texting while driving (Adams par. 4).
