Holy Prophet (PBUH) This paper highlights the prominent virtues of our beloved Holy Prophet (PBUH). This paper covers the virtues such as friendliness, good temper, fairness in dealing, kind treatment of slaves, respect for women, care of orphans, tending the sick, helping the helpless, and many more for humanity. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) was born on twelfth day of Rabi al-Awwal in the year 570 A.D. Eventually they arrived to Mecca. Halimah belonged to a tribe whose women found a child and decided to take him back with them, but not with Halimah (Ramadan). Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was the only left baby. Consequently no one sought to get him, even though he was from one of the noblest families of Quraysh. Halimah did not want to take him also, but she did not want to be the only woman to go back to her tribe devoid of a baby to talk about (Ramadan). She requested her husband to grant permission as to whether she ought to take Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) or not. He allowed her to do so, adding, may be Allah will exalt us because of him.' They started on the go back journey and as soon as Halimah started feeding Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) her milk all of a sudden increased and she had sufficient for him as well as for her own baby too. When they were returning back home, the whole thing began to modify. The land became green, and the date trees, one of their core sources of foodstuff, gave lots of fruit. The sheep began to give bounty of milk also. Halimah and her husband discerned that this excellent luck had appeared because just because of the new baby, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), they loved Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) as their own son (Ramadan). The great quality that he (PBUH) possessed was his truthfulness and righteousness. The time passed and when Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was twenty-five years old he was renowned for his truthfulness. Everyone respected him, still the old ones of Mecca. With the passage of time his cleanliness of character increased. It looked that he had an internal acquaintance that other people over there did not have. Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) believed the ones of Almighty Allah and he worshipped Him with his heart and soul. He (PBUH) was the best among the people, the most courteous, ingenuous and steadfast person in Mecca at that time. He was very kind as he said, Kindness or politeness is a great virtue as praying all through the day and fasting through the day (Description of the Prophet). On the way of life, two extraordinary incidents happened which confused Maysarah extremely. The first incident happened during their journey when they halted to take rest nearby a forlorn home of a priest. Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) sat beneath a tree at the same time as Maysarah was doing some work. The priest rushed towards Maysarah and inquired about the man taking rest under the tree. A Quraysh family member, who guard the Kabah, Maysarah said. No one except a Prophet is resting under this tree', replied the priest verily. The second incident took place on the expedition back to Mecca. It took place at noon, the time when the sun was sprinkling extreme warmth. Maysarah was riding behind Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and when the sun became hotter, he saw two angels come out above Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and guard him from the sun's dangerous rays (Armstrong). The Holy Prophet (PBUH) always stressed upon fair dealings in life. His decisions were considered full of wisdom. His intellect was seen when Quraysh decided to reconstruct the old foundation of Kabah and there was a dispute upon fixing of black stone (Hajra-E-Aswad). They labored up till they reached down to the basic foundation that Hazrat Abraham had ever built. Immediately they started to take away the stones of this groundwork, on the other hand, the whole of Mecca began to quiver. They were so frightened that they determined to run away these stones where they were and constructed on top of them. Each and every tribe of Mecca brought stones and then they constructed the Kabah up until they got to the spot where the black stone was to be fixed. Then they began to dispute about who should have the credit of fixing the black stone and elating it to its spot/place in one of the bends of the Kabah. They more or less came to blusters but luckily one of the men presented a solution. He gave suggestion that they should be directed by the first person who enters the place of worship. Upon this, they showed their willingness and as Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was the first person to enter everybody were pleased, since they all trusted him very much. They explained him the cause of the dispute and he inquired them to get a large cover. They did so, and later than disseminating the cover on the floor he put the black stone in the middle of it. After that he suggested that a man from each tribe would hold one corner of the cover and mutually to lift it to the summit where they wanted to see the stone. As soon as this was done, he got the stone off the cover and put it into its place himself instead of others. This event shows that how all Quraysh appreciated and trusted Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and how, by his insight and good sagacity, he was able to keep the calm (Al-Islam). Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) had strong belief that there was only one Allah, Creator of all living being, and HE is the one who is worth for worship. Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) would frequently go away the swarming city and go to the cave in Mount Hira. In the month of Ramadan later than that crucial day, Revelation came again and again to the Prophet (PBUH). He realized now what he had to carry out and get ready himself for what was to approach. Just a powerful and bold man, who is helped by Allah, can only be a right prophet as people often decline to pay attention to Allah's message. The Prophet (PBUH) started speaking surreptitiously of Allah's message to persons who were rather close to him and whom he had trust. Just then Mecca was passing through harsh conditions and there was shortage of food. Abu Talib, the Prophet's uncle, who had brought him up after the death of his grandfather, was taking this situation very tough to give food to his large family unit (Emerick and Emerick). Many people including his uncle ignored his message; the Prophet (PBUH) met his friends surreptitiously in a residence situated nearby the hill of Safa. They prayed together there and he (PBUH) educated them about the religion and values of Islam. He showed them the path of piety and virtue. But even though they kept to themselves, they were now and again ill-treated by those people who would not trust in Allah. The Quraysh who had been worshipping idols for many years could not bear this. They became angry at him and persuaded him to give up his faith and preaching of Islam. They also offered him wealth and riches. They even sent their representatives to Hazrat Abu Talib to ask his nephew to stop the preaching of Islam. But nothing could dissuade Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) from his mission. He remained firm in his belief. Through these events an unexpected change to Islam happened. One day, as the Prophet (PBUH) was coming back home, talking with his followers, he came across Abu Jahl, who was leader of Quraysh, who detested the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and also his traditions. The leader, Abu Jahl began to disgrace the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and to speak viciously of Islam, but the Prophet (PBUH) gave no response and took his way without paying any heed. There is no such man in the history of the world who emerged out to be the brilliant preacher of Islam (Ramadan). The Holy Prophet (PBUH) demonstrated whatever he has preached to the people. Another example that goes far beyond the principles of humanity is observed when small children hurt him. A young man in fact threw some filth and rubbish on the Prophet's head; however the Prophet (PBUH) went home without paying any notice of it. When one of his daughters hurried, crying, to clean it away from his head, he soothed her by saying, my little girl don't cry over this, for Allah will guard your father.' Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) performed kind deeds as their guider, or you can say imam, in prayer or obedience to Allah. This example shows their love for humanity even in bad and unpleasant situation. I have never such a preacher of any religion who showed so mercy and even prayed for his enemies as Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) did. He was perfect in all aspects of life. Even his worst enemies called him truthful and trusted one. Once he was offered two jugs, one had little milk and the other had wine. He selected the jug containing milk and denied abruptly to take wine. At this, the guardian angel Gabriel appeared and said, you have exactly been directed to the fitrah, which is the exact identity of man, and therefore will your followers be, Hazrat Muhammad. You are prohibited to drink wine (Emerick and Emerick). The first revelation acknowledged in the mount of Hira was "read in the name of thy lord! Who created you from the clot of blood, read in the name of thy lord! Who is most bounteous and merciful?" But the question is what to read? Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) taught two steps of learning. One is reading and the second is writing. He took steps to promote literacy and love of learning. He made it compulsory for every Muslim man and woman to get education as a religious obligation. He raised the degree of learning seventy times higher than the prayer. In the Battle of Badr, Muslims caught some non-Muslims as prisoners. Hazrat Muhammad asked the educated non-Muslims to teach the Muslim children read and write on this condition they would get freedom. He taught the basis and principles of morality and eternal values which formed the basis of a welfare society. He also freed the man from old customs and traditions. Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was the greatest preacher and reformer of Islam. He reformed the people of Arabia who worshipped idols. Due to his teachings, they became civilized people and started praying Allah (Al-Islam). For about forty years, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) demonstrated his excellent character as a wonderful and practically ideal man. He spread the message of God with entire obligation. The Arabs and people all over the world saw the light of Islam. He showed the people right path and thus becoming "mercy for the entire world". His (PBUH) life shows that he measured up to the highest standard of character and personality. It is very easy to say but we cannot find a single case in point of tradition of such forbearance, tolerance, staying power and mercifulness. He is the greatest of among all the people. The Holy prophet (PBUH) taught virtues such as friendliness, good temper, fairness in dealing, kind treatment of slaves, respect for women, care of orphans, tending the sick, helping the helpless, and many more for humanity. Such was the greatness and nobility of out beloved Holy Prophet (PBUH). As a consequence we can say that in trial and triumph, and in all traditions of humanity and are actually difficult to believe in, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) proved that he was Prophet of Mercy and Blessing for all the mankind (Ramadan). The Holy Prophet (PBUH) always prayed for every one whom he liked or not. He (PBUH) was the tradition of politeness. This event would reveal his kind heartedness to human being. An old woman was the harsh opponent of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). She would bring together trash and would stay for Him to pass through the street, and as the Prophet (PBUH) walked by her house she would throw the trash on him. Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) by no means uttered an unkind word to her nor did he object in opposition to it. One day he passed by the woman's house, but no garbage fell on him. He walked to the door of her house. It was shut. He knocked the door and asked for consent to come in. A feeble voice answered, "Come in". He walked in and found the old woman lying in high fever. When she realized who her visitor was, the old woman was greatly terrified. She thought that the Prophet (PBUH) would certainly punish her for her wrong deed. The Prophet (PBUH) said, don’t be afraid, I am your supporter Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) cleaned the house, fetched water for the old woman took her medicine and soothed her. She was so overwhelmed by the kindheartedness and well-mannered behavior of Holy Prophet (PBUH) that she accepted Islam and turned out to be a true Muslim (Al-Islam). As I have mentioned above various events and incidents that goes far beyond the traditions. May the eternal peace and blessing of Allah be upon him forever and ever Ameen. Conclusion This paper has discussed about the life and incidents of our Holy Prophet (PBUH) in detail. This paper throws light upon the preaching and manners that Holy Prophet (PBUH) has laid great stress. It is also very clear from the above mentioned events that our Holy Prophet (PBUH) strictly followed that traditions and virtues that he preached throughout his life. He always kept his words which he (PBUH) uttered and incited his followers to the true spirit of Islam and Allah. Works Cited Al-Islam.
