The Attitudes of an Individual in a Society - Case Study Example

The most important thing is how we learn to control our personality by using various resources and strategies and not allowing it to be in control. This paper tries to explain my relationship style and how it affects others. Body The most important thing is to understand ourselves before trying to understand others.

We have to understand our strengths, potential strengths and limitations. By doing so, we can tell the kind of people we are, the type of people we want others to see, and the type we are capable of being. We are capable of understanding ourselves through analysis. It is through research that one can be able to gauge strengths and weaknesses. People usually have different personalities and show them differently depending on their situation; for instance, when people are in problems, they tend to be frightened, while others tend to be calm.

Some react differently to matters; for example, one can shout aloud when irritated, while others are usually quiet. From this, we find that different people have different characters and that others can control them while others allow their personalities to take control of them. It is usually essential that we can control our personalities since they influence the way we relate to other people. Once people can control nature, they can dictate their type of people. 

For instance, a very temporal person who can control their temper can show people what he or she wants them to see about him. He can hold his temper and make people think he is not tempered. Through anger management programs, they can learn ways to prevent their anger issues and be the type of person they want to be. By being able to manage your personality, you can be able to relate to different people who have other characters too. This makes it possible to learn more, understand those people, and connect well with them (Spencer, 2010).

In a situation where someone who has anger management problems and has gone through therapy comes across someone with such issues, they are to relate well with them since he or she has been in a similar situation and knows exactly how the other people feel and what they are capable of doing. They will talk and try to agree with most of the issues they say to make the ill-tempered person feel comfortable. This makes it possible to have a conversation with them and understand what they are going through to help them out of the situation or problem they are facing.

People usually have different “versions” or characters. At all times, it is best if we have God’s version. God is perfect and created us in His image, so he is supposed to imply that we are perfect. Even though we cannot be ideal as God, it is better if we try to be our best. We should try as much as possible to live a perfect life as God would want us to. This comes with many challenges since many temptations and issues revolve around us that make us forget the type of life we are supposed to live.

A simple example is where we are supposed to forgive those who do us wrong; that is what is expected of us according to God. There comes a problem where so many people realize that you are a forgiving person and try to take advantage of that. They will constantly do bad things to you without considering that you have feelings and emotions and can also react to whatever they are doing. Living God’s version of us is usually tricky and comes with many challenges. Still, as long as we understand ourselves and can control our personality, we can live it. Having faith also helps. This has made me realize that ability to understand my personality is very important in life, so below are some personality facts about me.
