Personality disorder is described as a sort of mental behavior or experience, entirely deviated from original one. The onset of varied types of mental disturbances, the specific attitude, feelings and approaches of an individual over a specific condition changes entirely and this creates varied types of problems. However, such type of mental disturbances leads to distress that offers a significant impact over the thinking power and intelligence of the individual. Disturbance in thinking power also retards the level of performance and productivity of the individual that hinders the level of over-all output of the organization. Personality disorder is mainly characterized by a specific sort of maladaptive pattern of behavior as well as expertise’s that are entirely different from actual behavioral pattern. Deviation from actual set of behaviors leads to difficulties in interpersonal functioning and so these individual are also recognized as psychiatric patients. So, the behaviors of these patients are highly ego-syntonic, ego-integrity and many others resulting in amplification of anxiety, distress and depression. Depression or distress is considered as one of the most important factor that reduces the commitment and harmonization among the individual within a specific group, society or organization. However, reduction of commitment and bonding of the individual or employees, the overall productivity and profitability of an organization declines in the market as compared to many other rival players (Oltmanns & et.al. 2004). Categories and Types of personality disorders In recent age, the concept of personality disorder aroused to a significant extent as compared to previous era. The prime cause of personality disorders of this age is caused by genetic influences or early expertise. There are different types of personality disorders but are categorized into three clusters like cluster A – Odd or Eccentric disorders, cluster B –Dramatic, Emotional or Erratic disorders as well as cluster C-Anxious or fearful disorders. In Cluster A, paranoid, schizoid, and schizotypal personality disorders are present. Among them, disorder of paranoid personality is a sort of disorder in which, the individual fails to trust others. However, as the level of trust of an individual over his or her friends or co-partners is extremely low, so he or she fears to share any sort of information with them. Such type of symptoms are observed within the individual comprising of disorder of paranoid personality as the degree of suspiciousness, anxiety, distress is extremely high as compared to many others. Moreover, as the individual comprises of high degree of self respect and personal rights so he or she bears grudges or resentments for any sort of wrong deeds over a longer period. Thus, the presence of personal grudges hinders his or her level of performance that reduces his or her dominance and reputation among others. Schizoid personality disorder presents the tendency to get him or her-self involved in the personal life of others. In this type of disorders, the individual remain entirely aloof from the real life situations or conditions and get engaged in fantasies and introspections. This reduces the commitment or motivation over the duties or assigned tasks thereby the level of quality of tasks reduces to a considerable extent. Therefore, in such cases, treatment is extremely essential in order to enhance their level of performance, relationships and behaviors towards others. Schizotypal disorder is recognized by the odd appearances, attitudes, thinking power, speech and behavior of the individual. Abnormal thinking power includes obsession rumors, absurd thinking etc that may create distress, suspiciousness etc. However, abnormal thinking retards the individual from social interactions and therefore, the level of bonding or interpersonal relationship is extremely low for these individual as compared to others. In addition to these disorders, antisocial, borderline, histrionic as well as narcissistic are certain other personality disorders grouped in cluster B. Antisocial personality disorders is extremely common among males as compared to females. The prime symptom of this personality disorder is callous attitude and unconcerned behavior among others. Such an individual also try to disagree the rules and regulations of the society and performs varied types of antisocial activities. Thus, such type of individual had to spend their maximum extent of the years in jail or prison and so he fails to retain a happy life with its family members. Borderline personality disorder is also another extremely popular sort of disorder as in this an individual fails to maintain his or her self-respect and confidence (Winsper & et. al. 2013). This is because; he or she tries to believe the absurd ideas and notions of life and so desires to make suicides, every now and then. So, the level of distress and disappointment increases day by day that reduces her commitment or devotion level to a significant extent as compared to many others. Hence, such type of suicidal activities or borderline personality disorder arises mainly due to sexual abuse in youth age. Histrionic personality disorder is also another sort of disorder, in which an individual lacks his self confidence and so he or she tries to depend over the attention of others. Moreover, in order to make others attracted towards him-self, they appear extremely charming and intelligent. Such type of overwhelming behaviors leads to insincere attitudes among others that hinder the inner morale of other co-members. Therefore, the level of interpersonal bonding gets hampered thereby increasing the degree of distress and tortures. Narcissistic personality disorder is one of the most commonly observed disorders as it arises, when an individual falls in love or adore with his own reflection. Therefore, the individual suffering from such type of disorders experience a sense of grandiose regarding self respect and admiration and so they try to exploit others to accomplish their own goals in long run. Hence, these individual are extremely sell-fish, insensitive among others. However, as these individual lacks their confidence, they might be easily attracted towards antisocial activities among others. In Avoidant personality disorder, the individual always feels disturbed and inferior among all other members of a group or society. So, he or she hesitates to meet or coordinate with all other members, as he is socially inferior. Hence, the level of distress or anxiety is quite high among these avoidant individual and so they remains aloof from the social gatherings or interactions. Disorder of dependent personality is also categorized as cluster C disorder as the individual suffering from these disorders try to remain dependent over others. This is because of their lack of confidence, self-respect and tactfulness so as to tackle any sort of situations in an effective way. Therefore, such type of dependent individual tries to tackle any sort of challenging situation or change in an efficient way, with the help of a high intelligent and tactful individual. Furthermore, if such type of highly intelligent individual remain along with the human beings suffering from dependent personality disorders, then their inner strength and morale increases to a considerable extent. Another widely popular type of personality disorder is obsessive compulsive disorder. Such type of disorders arises within the attitudes and personalities of the individual because of excess involvement in the rules, regulations, policies and strategies of an organization. So, the individual always tries to follow the rules in every aspect of life and therefore, distress increase. This distress hinders the performance, commitment and devotion of the individual towards the assigned tasks that declines overall productivity of the organization among others. Therefore, it might be revealed that varied types of personality disorders mentioned above arises due to lack of inner confidence and motivation to perform any specific tasks. The possible causes of personality disorders The prime causes of the above mentioned personality disorders is either genetic or environmental factors. Physical illness is also considered as one of the most important factor that leads to varied types of above mentioned personality disorders that may hinder the self respect, coordination and intelligence of an individual so as to tackle any situations. Child-abuse is considered as another important reason that results in varied types of personality disorders such as disorder of antisocial personality. It increases the rate of antisocial activities that hinders the self respect and morality of the individual as compared to others. Poor communication among the family members, abandonment in young age etc are also responsible for varied types of personality disorders like disorder of borderline personality. However, in these types of personality disorders, the degree of social interaction as well as coordination decreases significantly. Hence, such types of disorders increases distress and disappointment among the individual thereby reducing his or her motivation or morale to work within a group in an organization. Insensitive parenting’s as well as physical environmental conditions are also responsible for these above mentioned personality disorders and so they always desire to remain aloof and alone from the other individual of the society. This increases their mental disturbance and anger and the intensity of antisocial crimes increases to a considerable extent. Therefore, these individual get retarded in their life and lack career opportunities. Hence, in order to get rid from such type of mental disturbance and anxiety, they get motivated towards alcohols, drugs or marijuana smoking. Thus, these reasons are equally responsible for the increase of the rate of deaths as compared to births. Treatments In order to reduce the causes or symptoms of the above mentioned personality disorders, treatment is the most essential requirement. But it varies from one personality to another. In case of disorder of obsessive compulsive personality, disorder of dependent-personality, disorder of narcissistic-personality, disorder of borderline-personality and many others, talk therapy is extremely worthy. Effective communication with the personality disordered individual might prove efficient in reducing its negative impacts over the society. Similarly, anxiety, distress, disturbance etc need to be treated with the help of varied types of medicines that may enhance the level of attitudes and behaviors of the individual. Improvement of the attitude might prove effective in enhancing the motivation and morale towards the assigned tasks within an organization that may increase its overall prosperity. In case of antisocial personality disorder, varied types of rewards, incentives, promotions etc need to be presented so as to reduce an individual antisocial crime. Legal regulations and policies also need to be implemented over the individual so as to save from various crimes (Martens, 2000). Thus, it might be clearly depicted that talk therapy is offered high attention by the medical psychiatrics so as to reduce the negative impacts of various personality disorders. This is because; it helps an individual to communicate with others that enhances their sharing capacity and negotiation ability. Hence, such type of coordination enhances the inner confidence and morale that reduces the distress and anxiety to a significant extent. Therefore, in-spite of medicinal drugs, communication is considered as one of the most effective therapies in reducing the above mentioned personality disorders. Conclusion Conclusively, it might be revealed from the above analysis and evaluations that, communication plays a significant role in treating the negative impacts of personality disorders. This is because; it helps an individual to communicate with others and share his or her inner desires and ideas to a significant extent. Sharing of ideas leads to enhancement of the self confidence and self esteem of the personality disordered individual and improves their performance and productivity among others. Besides, communication therapy, medicinal drugs are also extremely essential to treat the negative impacts of anxiety, distress, mental tensions etc. Moreover, varied types of rewards are also offered to the anti-social criminals so as to deviate them from such type of activities. Then these individual might be presented with varied types of jobs that may improve their career options and economic conditions as well. Thus, treatment of personality disordered individual may improve prove effective in reducing the degree of anti-social crimes within a society that may enhance the image and reputation of the nation among other neighboring ones. Therefore, due to such type of medicinal and communicational treatments, the degree of social interaction among the individual of the society increases to a considerable extent. Hence, the rate of deaths of the mentally disturbed individual reduces that improves their coordination and interactions with other members of the society or group. Such type of coordination enhances the inner morale and confidence of the individual that amplifies their commitment over the assigned tasks. References Martens, W. H. J. (2000).
