Extract of sample "Social Changes and Psychology"

Different fields of human interests were going through social changes according to new concerns of the modern era at all times. Therefore, the fact that nowadays psychology changes its concerns corresponding to current social changes seems natural. And I think psychology now is related to the diversity of research because it’s a general modern tendency for all disciplines to spread fields of their interests beyond one discipline.

The term “globalization” is widely used nowadays and comes as a background for all social changes. It means connections in all spheres of human life have become more tied. Modern people are involved in a constant process of communication, and socialization is increasing because of this high level of interactivity. Psychology is one of the humane studies, and therefore it cannot stand aside from social changes and changes that modern tendencies cause in modern humans. In its turn, humankind is concerned very much with the psychological aspect of those current changes we all experience. There are a lot of factors and reasons in the modern world which affects human existence, and people also affect each other while interacting like never before. So like never before the field of humane research is wide, and the field of psychological research in particular. There are a lot of new objects and questions which appear are needed to be studied and answered.

Of course, in a context of general integration humane studies rely highly on possibilities of each other, and integration is on go between different sciences. Psychology has always been close to some of them (like sociology, philosophy and etc.), and now is related even to a bigger number of disciplines now (like the economy and mass culture). This process of cooperation seems unavoidable. I hope it will serve the development of psychology as well as for the development of those new related disciplines.
