Hypnosis in Relation to Antisocial Behavior al Affiliation Hypnosis in Relation to Antisocial Behavior Introduction Myths and misconceptions have surrounded the application of hypnosis in relation to antisocial behavior among mentally individuals. Assumptions need to be separated from facts. There is need to determine how a third part may influence behavioral change in a person. The mind is an independent component and the level of its utilization depends on environmental factors. The changes in these environments would either have effect on an individual or maintain his or her state of mind. The socio-behavioral control experiment would be the aim at ascertaining whether hypnotized subjects among the sample group would exhibit social and behavioral control when introduced to a foreign element. Methodology In ascertaining claims on Hypnosis and behavioral control, there is need to carry out a control research experiment. The participants will be chosen at random and will be contain both female and male participants. The research will involve six individuals who will be diverse in terms of race and background. Upon a selecting the sample group, it will then subdivided into three groups. Each group will contain a male and a female. The subjects would be involved two a three hour normal setup. This will be to determine their normal behavior without change of environment. The recording made would be based on characters experienced by the subjects including, interaction, hallucination and other social behaviors. The outcome would be recorded and the same experiment repeated among the subgroups. The outcome will identify the levels of attitude and behavioral activities among the groups. The groups will then be rearranged depending on the findings of previous observation. The groups will be labeled as normal, hypnotized and high-risk group. The same experiment will be done with the new group. This will to ascertain the groups are arranged according to the classification. The tool being tested would be antisocial behavior and how they would be manipulated by the introduction of the third part. The groups are then allowed to interact with an opposite group and at the same time, the group is allowed to interacted with the same member of the group. The amount of information shared within the group is then recorded. The groups are then allowed to frustrate each other and the reaction of each member recorded. The group is also allowed the opportunity to share life negatives and childhood traumas are shared. The reaction of each individual is then recorded and outcome will be analyzed based of psychological theories. The final stage will involve peer counseling, psychological therapy to those hypnotized, and high risked subjects. The action will involve assisting the participants to overcome childhood traumas and mend their personal and interpersonal communication skills. The group upon satisfaction is the allowed to interact freely with group members and other members of the other group. The data is collected and recordings done based on behavioral and social changes. The group is then compared to the normal group. Each group member will then be given a questioner to record any changes in their life including behaviors and interrelationship ability. Result The initial recordings will mean that the situation is considered normal and that the results are meant to create a base of the research. The random experiment will provide the much needed data to group and regroup the sample size. The three hours allocated to the initial experiment will ascertain whether the selected groups are qualified to be involved in the experiment research. At this stage the element being tested are behaviors, attitude and social interaction abilities. The second test in which the groups are regrouped would result in behavior and social similarities. Those who exhibit normal behaviors, which in our case are social and behavioral characteristics, are then classified in the same group. The other groups will be based on those who show little interpersonal skills and poor communication skills. When the environment is manipulated, different traits are experienced. The hypnotized sample exhibits different traits. The third party who is a psychology would transform. The expected result would be a change in attitude, improved anger management skills and improved levels of communication and decisions making. The third part plays would be the foreign element on the subjects mind. The result would be compared to the normal group; the traits would prove to be similar or improved beyond those of a normal group. The questioner provided to the subjects after the experiment would be analyzed and personal testimonial information would prove that the experiment had exhibited progress. The result of each group will then be but into a table and comparison analyzed best on data from recordings by the participant, the third party process report and personal observation. The three elements would indicate an aspect of change throughout the experimental period. The table indicates the traits before and after introduction of the third party. Groups Attitude Interpersonal skills Social skills Communication Before After Before After Before After Before After Normal good improved good improved good improved good improved High risk Medium improved Medium improved Medium improved Medium improved Hypnotized Poor Improved Poor Improved Poor Improved Poor Improved Analysis There exists a relationship between behavioral change and contemporary hypnosis practices. Watkins (2008) indicates the essence of behavioral change and improved communication using the model. The initial anomalies associated to an individual lack of communication are based on the fact that individual are subjected to the same environment over a longer period. These conditions are what would describe the initial characters exhibited by the subjects. Barber (1962) attributes childhood trauma to an attitude by the affected towards change. The author suggests that controls are needed for individuals who are hypnotized and non- hypnotized. The action is what is undertaken by the experiment and that none of the groups are exempted from counseling. The outcome of the second final test is what achieves these assumption and that to avoid biasness all groups are introduced to the same conditions and reintroduced to different environment to test the effectiveness of the model. Normal conditions according to Barber (1962) both group of individuals would exhibit normal traits and comparison is what will determine if at all different traits may be induced in a change of environments. The important aspect of the research will be to determine if at all, a change of environment may have an impact of on a person’s ability to interact and communicate to different individuals. The result will be used to set preference toward the application of the models to various applications. The positive nature of the result will mean that the antisocial individuals in society upon change on environment will exhibit transformed traits. The application of these models would including aiding persons with personality disorder or mental disorders to overcome their previous experiences and transform into social individuals. Professional help is what drives the model to its existence and the outcome would depend on an individual willingness to embrace change and forget previous atrocities. The same can be repeat to ascertain whether the experiment is applicable among teenage groups where peer influence change positive behavior to negative. The argument according to Orne and Evans (1999) offers a room of possibility and hence the model may be applicable in radicalization and gang crime recruits. Conclusion The outcome of the experiment would depend majorly on the determination of the subjects. The research would be based on assumption that each group completes the entire research period and positive impacts are recorded. The research would be examining the Myths and misconceptions surrounding the application of hypnosis in relation to antisocial behavior among mentally individuals and provide facts on the experiment.
