We had a stand for Eco-marketplace whereby people were taken through color exhibition booths for unique finds: smart technology, green products, organic clothing, cool gadgets, and lots of fun stuff people had never seen before. There was also an exhibition regarding the green car show whereby the greatest and latest in automotive technology included the newest electric cars like the Nissan Leaf and Chevy Volt. There were stands for homegrown roots that featured learning about taste and exploring the local food movement from the roots up.
The festival also featured kids' corners where they had fun learning about Mother Earth, and a live green stand that informed people on how to live a more sustainable, green lifestyle and make informed eco-conscious choices every day. The Meet Your Makers zone featured a highly curated segment of regionally-based artisans, artists, crafters, designers, and other small creative businesses. The public square featured various non-profit organizations, community-based projects, and government agencies working for the public interest.
Overall, the festival was a big success and helped educate people so much about taking care of Mother Earth as they enjoyed and had fun. Can’t wait for the next event! Read More
