Prerequisite for Vision Prerequisite for Vision The main prerequisite for vision is light and light sensitive surface. This is because our eyes belong to a group known as camera-type eye. They do not utilize film like automatic cameras but instead they focus light on retina, which is a light sensitive membrane. The cornea in the human eye is transparent and located in front of the eye. It assists in focusing the incoming light. Behind the cornea, there is an Iris. The Iris contains an adjustable circular hole known as the pupil that contract or expands depending on the amount of incoming light.

These three organs work consistently thus enabling vision (Foley & Matlin, 2009). Human eyes are every subjective in the sense that they function in harmony with the brain to establish the images or picturs you see. The eyes adjust the focus and conveting light into an electrical impalse that the brain can process. On the other hand, an automatic camera is very absolute in the sense that it measures or focus the light that hits the sensor but the sensor is not sensitive, and requires signals listed to be adjusted in order to tally with the color temperature of photons depicting the scene (Foley & Matlin, 2009).

Additionally, in human eye, the lens transforms shape to focus while in automatic camera, the lens draws closer and further from object t focus. Moreovr, an automatic camera is uniformly sensitive to photons while human eye is less sensitive. Therefore, concerning image quality, human eyes have a significan sensitive in dark places than a camera. ReferenceFoley, H., & Matlin, M. (2009). Sensation and perception. New York, NY: Pearson.
