With their global statuses, the two organizations try as much as possible to have an impact around the world, trying to create an excellent world for everybody. The mission statements of the two organizations, therefore, seem to center around making the world a better place. The Mission statement for Google Inc. states that it intends to organize all the information in the world and make it of use and accessible to everyone in the world. Save the Children states that its purpose is to inspire breakthroughs in terms of how people all over the world treat children and to achieve both short-term and long-term solutions aimed at improving the lives of children (Bradford and Duncan, 2000).
Despite appearing to be similar, the two mission statements are very different. Whit that Saves the Children focuses on emancipating children, Google Inc. has its attention on everybody globally. The main concern of Google is information while that of Save the Children is on human rights for children. The two organizations, therefore, have different visions that are envisaged in their mission statements.
