I worked as a youth leader under the supervision of the regional co-coordinator. The coordinator informed me of an urgent meeting that would involve the preparation of reports within a short duration. Most of the time, I considered this to be either mistreatment or ignorance of his work. Although the wages were satisfying, I always urged the seniors to grant me a transfer. Under the coordinator, there was a constant delay of payment for no reason. During one of the annual meetings, I thought it was wise to question him on the inhuman treatment. In response, he claimed that most of the time he was busy hence, the delay in communicating to me. The reason was not satisfying but I took it upon myself to forgive him since he promised to shy away from that behavior (Mullet & Girard, 2000).

After the confrontation, he passed information in good time. This strengthened our friendship. Consequently, I assumed that he made the mistakes due to his busyness. Actually, forgiveness is an exceedingly significant tool for correcting transgressors since it suppresses chances of revenge. Finally, physiologists have improvised mechanisms that investigate the problems of forgiveness. This would enable forgiveness and reconciliation between the victim and culprit.
