Education as an asset Allow me to first of all air the sentiment that a good education is the single most important asset that every person should strive so hard to get if he or she is to ever make any impact in the society. Albeit with a lot of ups and downs, the journey is nonetheless an exciting one owing to the fact that it involves a rigorous schedule full of new experiences and concepts. I recently graduated from High School with very remarkable grades; the next obvious step is for me to join an institution of higher learning to pursue my number one career.

I do strongly believe that attaining higher education will prepare me for the even greater challenges associated with the world of academia. I am this kind of person who is always touched by people who are in need, I derive a lot of pleasure in understanding people’s troubles and abnormal behavior hence my desire in pursuing a career in psychology in your revered institution. I was a member of St. John Ambulance for over 7years and through their trainings, I have been able to grow passionately in caring for people.

Allow me to further reiterate that a career in Psychology is not only in line with my career ambitions but my personal ambitions as well. I am of a strong opinion that a society with poor mental and physical issues is as good as a vehicle without an engine. It is in this regard that I believe that if given an opportunity to join your institution, I will work extra hard to ensure that I attain the highest grades so as to enable me to provide solutions to the psychological needs of people in the society.

This I believe will make me more competitive as well as reliable in the delivery of services. I also believe that pursuing a career in Psychology will help me in giving back to the society through training others so as to transform the society. Even though I am driven and still have a personal desire to pursue a career in Psychology in your reputable institution, allow me to reiterate that my choice of career entirely depends on the advice and support that I will get from your institution. This is due to the fact that you have very qualified career choice advisors who I believe will play a major role in offering career advice that will enable me attain my career goals.

Not only is your institution internationally recognized but it also has a long standing culture of helping students make informed career choices through career coaching and mentorship especially to those who lack information on the various courses available and their future prospects in terms of career growth. Your institution is also reputable for producing fully baked professionals with diverse skills and expertise something that I look forward to.I am a hardworking and meticulous individual with excellent interpersonal, negotiation and organizational skills that I believe will be important in my future profession.

I have the right attitude towards education and an active sports person who enjoys bowling and soccer. I will further appreciate if considered for a scholarship to achieve my academic desire. I have no iota of doubt that I will perform exceptionally well during my stay in this institution. I look forward with awe to hear from you.Works citedDoran, J. & Brizee, A. (2010).
