Depression is a kind of mental disorder that hinders day-to-day work, studies, sleep, eating habits, and also any kind of pleasure. It could be severely called dysthymia, on the other hand, bipolar disorder is accompanied by mood alteration. It generates negative thoughts and alters mood as well as behavior leading to changes in bodily functions called neuro vegetative signs. Depression is mostly influenced by the economic condition of the family, upbringing, violence, the kind, and intensity of the stress level, nutrition, moves made in life, convictions, etc which directly display the cultural milieu and hence modulate the individual's life. The consequences of being diagnosed with depression are further grave but some cultural settings pay attention to eradicating the problem as the Hispanic group is known to be cooperative in resolving the ailment.
