Humans have evolved to be fundamentally distinct from other animals Over the years, scientists and other scholars have tried to unravel the mystery behind the nature and its existence. Several theories have been developed to try and explain these mysteries as others may refer to it. Some of these theories include the Biblical or religious theory which suggests that the universe as created from nothing, and several scientific theories. Scientific theories include the evolution theories which suggest that the universe came from a very simple form of existence to a more complex as is known today. This also explained the existence of living creatures. Human being as part of living creature originated from a simple form of organism. Humans evolved from an animal to become the most complex being he is known to become this day.Roberts(2011) explained that evolution came as a result of a need to civilisation, which introduced complexity in the human lives. Human with the desire to change brought a difference to its wellbeing. These spread to the difference exhibited between the behavior of both humans and animals.According to Roberts, humans became enlightened while animals did remain the same over the years. Huge parity between humans and animals emerged and evidently is shown through his lifespan development, ability to create and interpret communication through formation of different languages as well as knowledge of gender parity and their sexual characteristics[Coo07]. Lifespan advancement explains the changes of psychological needs throughout the human’s livelihood[Placeholder1]. These needs are well calculated as compared to those of the animals. For instance, humans might want to learn and seek reasons for a certain development. Cooper and Roth (2007)note that themes in this phenomenon include relationships, adulthood and different perspectives. They explain that siblings and peer groups exist to form groups that work together to satisfy the needs. This can be termed as part of lifespan development. Lifespan development is achieved when a human beingis individually attached to each other. However, for animals, this isnot a necessary factor. Psychologists explained that humans can really not exist on their own since they are social beings[Placeholder1]. Philosophers have also come up with ideas to explain this stating that ‘no man is an island’.Thishas proven that human highly depends on each other for both physical as well as psychological support. It is therefore imperative to suggest alienation to him as this would surely deteriorate his health. In contrast, animals would without any doubt survive alone. This is evidently shown because according to Roberts (2011) would only need each other for procreation purposes. It is well evident that an individual can keep a pet without a partner or a ‘friend’ for that purpose. This shows the ability of animals to exist without the need of other animals of the same species around it.Humans would surely die if this would be the case for him. Humans also believe in continuouslife developments. As noted by Roberts (2011),age is defined by a number of years;characterization of different stages of life is eminent in humanswhile animals only undergo stages of maturity and immaturity. This brings a huge parity between humans and animals. Human beings also show a difference by developing complex means of communication. This is by use of languages to utter words whichconveysa meaningto something.Roberts(2011) suggests that this was as a result of human need to work together to enable easier survival, or what others would call comfort. As social immortals, it is language that enables us to communicate needs.With language at hand, it is evident that human communication is different from that of animals. Language is a complex utterance of words which followa prescribed pattern.Four patterns are which includes semantics, structure dependency, displacement and creativityis common for all humans’ languages[Coo07]. Semantics refers to the utterance of words which provide different meaning to the spoken word. Displacement basically refers to reference of occasions and items not provided at the current moment[Coo07]. Structuraldependence explains that words whichsometimes used for the purpose different from the intended meaning or rather does not describe the subject in question.Language also possesses some form of creativity within it. It is used to produce sounds which are not very common. This shows the massive differencebetween animal and human communication. Even though animals evidently communicate, or possesses complex communication systems, their complexity is a matter of question before the communication process inhabited by humans.Animals may achieve communication through murmuring, others through bodycontacts while others achieve by other senses achieved by organs. With language, another exhibition that isevidentlyrecognized is the teaching of language as a form of communication.Humanspossess the ability to develop language structures to exhibit universal meaning. This process has been tried out to animals.With attempts to offer practice on animal communication, with apes, significant achievements have been realized. It is however a task which requires special attention.Instructions must be taught to animals for them to understand the communication patterns. This was evident in Bonobo’s study of use of sign language. One of the animals named Kanzi, a Bonobo or what can be termed as a short chimpanzee, was taught to use the keyboard of a computer. This was almost 72% successful as the creature received intensive training from an individual trainer. This was one of the most successful training cases that almost bore fruits. Another aspect bout language is the ability to realizeitssocial aspect. With language, it is possible for humans to form a pattern which create availability of different types of needs such as food, shelter and transport. For business purposes,market can be created or different needs be easily identifiable, produced and made available to other humans. Corporatebehaviour is eminent among human nature and this differentiates them from every creation on the planet[Rob11]. Roberts agrees that communication through different languages enables agreement to be achieved, the transmission of values and knowledge, and development of human’s residence. It is therefore evidently proven that human beings have developed with his social capability, owing to the development of language[Coo07]. Human sexuality and gender recognition is well displayed and advance than that of the animals. With human, female have been given distinctive approach to how they relate to each other and to the opposite sex[Rob11]. Animals on the other hand have minimal contacts with other members of the same species. Sexual activities also pose another difference which evidently exists. For instance, it is noted that the animal’s main drive of sexual activity is procreation while that of humans is both procreation and pleasure[Rob11]. Difference between animals and humans is very conspicuous. This is especially in the psychological nature of their wellbeing. These include through the ways of communication, sex and gender and lifespan development. It is noted that humans can communicate by forming patterns which can easily be identified and understood by other humans. This complex nature forms the language, which different people can recognize information produced by the utterance of words linked to that language. Human beings also undergo through several lifespan developments throughout their lives compared to wild creatures. Different individuals are grouped according to their age and nature of the characteristics of a certain get groups. Animals on the other side do not necessarily acquire this trait, although they leave for a specific period of time that easily be categorized an age. Sexual orientation and gender parity is also exhibited in different forms compared to animals.Humans and animals can therefore never possess exact same characteristics because of their cognitive behaviour as well as genetic composition.
