Personal Mission Statement I shall provide innovative support to my employers, generating new creative ideas and enhancing their public image through technology and differentiation in products and services. I shall direct my efforts at building relationships with people and focus on mentoring my subordinates to enable their professional and personal development. I see myself holding an influential position in an organization in future years, acting as a source of inspiration for new entrepreneurs and young blood that wish to pursue a similar mission statement. 3. Elevator Speech I am Christina Serratos and I am passionate about knowing people! I am graduating from DeVry University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and HR and currently working with Motor City Casino Hotel as a HR Representative. This field always charmed me since it is all about managing people and building healthy relationships with them. Last year, I was part of the HR team of my organization engaged in drafting of new HR policies, manuals and standards. However, staying further would only result in carrying out monotonous and clerical work which shall not contribute much to my portfolio of skills and knowledge. Two-year goal – I have set a target of growing rapidly to become a Human Resource Manager in a period of 2 years from now. I shall find an organization where I can grow and develop my learning curve. I intend to switch to industry of community health and medical affairs since hospitality industries have a limited scope. Five-year goal – In next five years, I see myself as a director of human resources of a large organization with substantial turnover and profitability where I can settle and work for years to come. Since I shall be working in medical field, I shall capitalize on my exposure and switch within similar industries such as medical centers and hospitals.
