When a spring is hanging vertically with no mass, it has a given length. When the mass was added the length changed. Every spring also has a spring constant. The periodic time also reduces as the as the length of the rod of the pendulum was reduced. This exactly shows how the length of the rod varies directly with periodic time. The periodic time also reduces as the mass was being added on the rod. There were some errors that occurred when carrying out the experiment, this lead to the inaccuracy of the various values and graphs drawn. The pendulum may not have been mounted in the same position as the gravity; it may not be pointing directly to the center of the earth. The pendulum surface may also not be aero-dynamic to avoid lift and drag by air. Mistakes could also be from measuring the length of the pendulum causing inaccurate ...Download file to see next pagesRead More

The peaceful scenario that comes to mind while listening to this piece is perhaps a visual depiction of the true meaning of this instrumental. This conventional orchestral music creates a sense of tranquility in the mind. Vivaldi used violins/cellos for rhythm in this piece which gives the calm and soothing effect. The variations in the tempo add a bit of drama to the imagination. The themes that pop up in the mind, while listening to this piece, can be linked together to form an imaginary saga. The Spring Awakening was presumed as a pornography play by many people in the society. This writing compares modern America and the issues faced by the teenagers in Spring Awakening. In Spring awakening the parents and the society at large... in case...

The Simple Pendulum
... of Affiliation EXPERIMENT ON PERIOD OF SIMPLE PENDULUM A comparison of “T” values (i.e. period) of 81 cm pendulum against 64 cm long pendulum indicates that the 81 cm long simple pendulum has longer period than the latter. For example, the average of “T” values of 81 cm long pendulum is 1.77 seconds while that of 64 cm long pendulum is approximately 1.62 seconds. After changing the mass of the bob and repeat the same process (i.e. table 2), the comparison of “T” values of 81cm and 64 cm long simple pendulums reflect similar results as in table 1. This means that the 81cm long pendulum had a longer average period (i.e. 1.79 seconds) as compared to 1.66 seconds in the second case. This can be explained using the formula:; where T... is the...

The Simple Pendulum
...Applied Math’s Report Group: id: Word count:1041 Pendulum is one among the many experiments studied in Physics. The objective of this experiment was to estimate the value of gravitational force (g), based on measurements obtained from a simple pendulum and comparing it to the value of widely accepted value of 9.81ms-2. Furthermore, the project aimed at understanding the relationship between different parameters in an oscillating system. The method involved a golf ball connected to a thread to create an oscillating pendulum. Oscillations were initiated, and time measured after ten oscillations then recorded. The oscillations were repeated nine times using the same thread, same ball, while varying the length of the thread. The data... was...

...from the spring gun with an original horizontal velocity v1. At time t= t1 , it collides with the pendulum with the mass M and the corresponding length L, which is originally at rest. At t=t2 the ball is trapped in the interior the pendulum. Moreover, the pendulum is at height h1 and the starts to move at the velocity v2 and swings upward. At t=t3 the ball is brought to halt at a height h2 by force of gravity. Initial velocity of the ball V1 is calculated by the measurement The linear momentum is conserved during the collision amidst t1 and t3 ; mv1=(m+M)v2 Through application of the Conservation of Energy to the ball-pendulum system amidst the two...
