The utilization of tidal energy, it decreases the necessity of nuclear power (Charlier, 92). Nuclear power is mainly linked to the risk of direct radiations to humans. Ocean power involves technologies that are advanced in the consumption of the energy from the sea by crashing the waves during the movement of the tides.
The most obvious type of ocean energy is the power of waves. In converting energy, wave power is captured near the shore and offshore. Most importantly, all the types of ocean power produce electricity through the conversion of the kinetic energy in the water and thermal energy being converted into mechanical energy that stirs the turbine(Brewster, 109).
In conclusion, the ocean thermal energy conversion is the least available type of ocean power and therefore the least used in the U.S (Charlier, 145). Most of the heat stored in the oceans forms the largest solar power collections in the world. Additionally, most of the energy from the ocean waves is basically available source of electricity in future. It is very consistent and predictable than all other renewable resources such as wind and solar. Wave energy demonstrates the best economic production of electric power would be integrated of smart technologies that support wave form of energy (Charlier, ...Download file to see next pagesRead More

...? Ocean Biome: Ocean Plant Energy Flow Ocean Biome: Ocean Plant Energy Flow Introduction ‘Biomes’ simply refer to similar climatic conditions on earth and they often indicate ecosystems. In some parts of the earth, same kind of abiotic and biotic factors are accumulated and it creates a typical ecosystem over that area; such an ecosystem is known as biome (Biome). Plant structures, leaf types, plant spacing, and climate becomes a common base for defining biomes. Ecological succession and climax vegetation often become the features of biomes and a biome is not defined in terms of genetic, historical, or taxonomic similarities unlike in the case of ecozones. In addition, a...

...and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Administrator Dr. James Baker (2000) said, there “has been warming to a depth of nearly 10,000 feet in the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans” (cited in Stevenson, n.d.). Ocean warming is considered to be a complex problem and is not a simple matter for scientists that are engrossed in knowing the heat content of the ocean. As the temperature increases, the ocean becomes less able to absorb the excess C02. National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC) scientists concluded that sizeable changes had occurred in the world ocean heat temperature which had potentially absorbed ~2 × 1023 joules (heat...

There will be 8 days of every year in which the contract is valid will be allocated to maintenance and repairs. During the 8 days, the customers would not be charged. Each and every new vessel will be devalued or depreciated on the basis of a straight line for over twenty five years (Stowell 76). The market rate that prevails in the daily spot is averagely twenty two thousand dollars ($22,000) every day. A discount rate of nine percent is used by the ocean carrier.
