London Array in the UK (United Kingdom) was declared the largest offshore wind farm all over the world producing about 630 Megawatts (MW). Its runners-up is the GGWF (Greater Gabbard Wind Farm) that produces about 504 Megawatts (MW).

Gwynt y Môr wind farm is one of the largest running projects. It is under construction and is aimed to produce approximately 576 megawatts (MW). (Wikipedia Pr. 4) Among the problems that would be encountered in wind energy includes noise pollution. This is caused by the wind turbines as they rotate. Wind turbines must be located in open areas free from interference from trees and large buildings. This enhances the rotation of the turbines. On the other hand, this will lead to deforestation as people will cut down trees to settle wind turbines (Rosenbloom Pr. 3). The author’s primary focus was on crude oil.
